>In Death Loop the triggers can lock up to simulate jamming
>triggers can simulate tension of a bow string, etc.
>tons of little vibrating motors inside
I heard PS4 controllers were pretty shit, so how fragile are these going to be with all this new gimmick junk added?
Should I buy a second one on launch when it breaks or wait until they make a new model?
In Death Loop the triggers can lock up to simulate jamming
>I heard PS4 controllers were pretty shit
no idea how this meme got started, they're pretty great.
Cool, my included controller failed after a year even though I barely play ps4.
The first batch had shit tier components. Sony always does this shit. Fucking rubber fell off the analog sticks. I remember it was the opposite for PS3, all my DS3s started breaking in various trippy ways. Meanwhile my heavily used sixaxis is perfect.
>youtuber tries to open the controller to have a look at the insides
>the plastic breaks
It doesn't bode well, really.
Lol no. L3 stops working after a couple of months and the shitty triggers get pressed just by setting the controller down.
Literally never happened to me on any of my controllers and I've had a PS4 since shortly after launch.
The one I got with my PS4 got stick drift after a year. Bought a new one and got stick drift after 4 months. Luckily I had warranty.
Sounds like they don't want any home repairs this time around.
>tons of little vibrating motors inside
Holy crap, so many of these are going to break when they fall off of your lap from the vibrating cutscenes. Both of my PS4 controllers have joystick drift from this. I went to PC though, so I don't have to spend $60 for some overpriced piece of shit controller that breaks if you look at it wrong because it's assembled by chinks using chinkplastic.
>so many of these are going to break when they fall off of your lap from the vibrating cutscenes
Maybe just hold onto the controller when playing the game you drooling retard?
>$60
Ohnononono
Cool story bro, probably because you play movie games that don't require button presses. It's a well known issue, stop sucking Sony cock
I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to hold my controller that long either if most of my game library consisted of 6 hour movies.
Maybe multibillion dollar megacorporation should just build a better controller? Pay their chink slaves a few extra cents so they stop contemplating suicide while they assemble the shit? None of my PS1 or PS2 broke. But you braindead consoomers will buy up anything though.
>$70
Oh no, it just keeps getting worse...
I doubt the official tech support people are gonna be having a better time, though. Or the people manufacturing it. That shit looks frail as hell.
Didn't austin evans break one trying to open it? Very fragile. Very, very fragile.
I play many intensive games across a wide variety of genres and probably have several thousand hours gametime on my PS4. The only issue with the controller was the early model had thumbsticks that wore off, but a simple stick cover fixed that, and all the newer models haven't had that for years.
>so many of these are going to break when they fall off
That's not how this shit works
Have fun with your broken controllers.
Sure thing buddy. What are you gonna tell me next, that the battery is great too?
I've never broken a PS controller, but the goddamn Switch broke after 5 months. I assume Xbox controllers are reliable too.
We'll see though.
>charge $60 for a controller
>components amount to $0.60
>support just throws your broken controller away and sends you a new one
I mean, sure it's cheap as hell, but it's not THAT cheap to make.
yeah, i'm exaggerating, but i imagine if they break the pathetic, frail plastic case when opening it up, they'll just slap the insides into a new one. i don't think the controller being flimsy are a huge issue to tech support, just to consumers.
If you redeem this code for This War of Mine, you accept that PS5 is the real master race and Sonychads are truly the most generous fanbase.

I guess so, but if the shell is that frail, the worrisome part is the durability of everything else.
No, thanks.
My DS4 is still going strong even after dropping it from desk height numerous times. Xbox one controller's d-pad stopped working after one drop.
how long until retards think their controller is broken when this gimmick shit turns off parts of their controller?
how long until it turns shit off and then Sony’s amazing product quality leads to it staying off forever? that’ll be another $80 + tip and $500 + tip when your piss5 bricks too
