Weren't Dimitri and Rodrigue seperated from the main group because Dimitri was trying to chase after Edelgard? I guess Byleth just didn't get there in time to rewind, or, even if they could have rewound, it would have still put them too far away to actually help, its not like anyone aside from the mole people seem to notice the time shifts, after all.

He wasn't mad because he thought Dudue was dead, he was mad because of Edel and Dudue dying to protect him was just another fucking nightmare thing that happened to him along the way.
Only reason Rodrigue actually changed something in him was because he got to have a sappy death speech saying 'blah blah we protected you for our own reasons so you have nothing to feel guilty about, live your life for what you believe in etc etc'
Dudue just got swept out and was added to the pile of people that Dimitri had nightmares about until it was revealed he was alive later.
