I still wake up every morning dreaming about playing Cyberpunk. I bought an LG C9 OLED 4KTV, wireless lapboard and mouse as well as building a $3000 dollar i9-9900k PC earlier this year in February with a 2TB Samsung NVMe drive. I never bought a GPU, instead I waited for Ampere and bought an RTX 3090 on launch day by lining up outside of a computer store for 3 hours.

So basically I have a roughly $6000 USD gaming set up, and my primary motivation was JUST playing Cyberpunk (other games as well, Cyberpunk was the big one). Still extremely excited, preordered the guide, rescheduled the days off work yesterday.

I honestly haven't been this excited for a game since San Andreas, and that was more than half my life ago.

After that I started to care less and I admit this delay completely killed me wanting to even play it and i'm "whatever" about it now. Funny because i played entire November around Cyberpunk movies, Cyberpunk games, etc. and it all went to the trash.

At this point it would REALLY benefit them to show some actual goddamn gameplay. None of this dev interview crap, no more trailers, just a simple unedited video showing V doing a mission with no commentary whatsoever. Is that so damn hard? I guess when I finished doom eternal which was around the time cyberpunk was supposed to he released at one point. I’ve gotten into anime and japanese games more than I ever have recently and have a lot of games to play through (pic related) cyberpunk just seems off now and things really seem like they’ve changed for the worse.

When the shit with Keanu Reeves started. Nothing against him but I had the feeling that it actually dragged away attention from the game as it literally didn't provide anything about the game itself except for some cutscene which probably will be scrapped from the game in the first place

Pretty early on when they nixed 3rd person camera. It become pretty clear back then that all combat gameplay would be compromised and that customization was literally worth shit. So I was pretty lucky.

I started losing my hype with the second trailer being set in bright sunlight, but I think it finally died much later, when I realized that every single female character they have showed looks like absolute shit.
