Headsets are a meme. Get a good pair of IEM for vastly superior sound quality and excellent isolation for a much more reasonable price.

>IEM
No thanks iphone user. i will pass

>Not playing games on mute while blasting Ram Ranch 7 on max volume.
Are you retarded OP?

Enjoy going deaf and having a misshapen head then.

Bet you never tried a good pair of sufficiently powered open backs

>looks
Off yourself RGB faggot

i think you memed yourself man lol kinda sad

your mom have rgb dildo

get whatever the fuck, the only thing that matters is a good DAC/AMP.
if you want to upgrade then get a good set of open backs, massdrop sells some.
also consider IEMs, tin audio makes some good ones.
but focus on a good DAC 1st

bro im a gaymer. i want plug and play. and under 100$ .

a DAC cleans out the audio at lot, gets rid of all that noise and whatever the fuck else.
is that not good for hearing steps in shooter games?
if you are not gonna pick up an amp or dac then just choose whatever you want, no point in going for a 100+ headphone if the signal still gonna be shit.

dac/amp doesn't mean anything if you have power insensitive, easy to drive headphones and you're using a relatively modern motherboards onboard audio. I've owned akg 550's, ath-m50's, and vmoda m100's and dac/amp did nothing for it off of a 9 year old mobo.

What if i have a good mobo? does that not affect the sound?

The one pictured is what I have. Sound seems clear, volume is a lot higher max than the shittier headphones I've had without obviously messing up the sound. They are light, breathe easy, and seem very durable, and don't put too much pressure on anything they shouldn't. The bands in particular seem almost impossible to break, and the removable wire is easily replaced if it fails. I have some concerns about the swivel and port, but unlike USB, I've never known 3,5mm ports to die

Durability and comfort are my biggest concerns on headphones. Sound loudness and clarity I can judge, but sound QUALITY I have no fucking idea. The thing is, I don't know what anything is SUPPOSED to sound like, so how can I know if the quality is better or worse? All I can do is compare to other headphones I had, and only on the metric that I like one better than the other. I could (and probably do), like some absolute shit quality sound because that's just what I expect to hear. I doubt these are shit based on the recommendations, but frankly I don't know and don't care.

welp, if you got a good mobo then yeah, its way better than one with no regard for audio.
i would recommend this

Did u plug a external mic and made them into a headset? or a you using standalone mic that sits on the desk?

Well currently I'm not using a mic at all because I have no need for one right now. If I ever do, I'll buy the one that plugs into the 3.5mm port on the headset

Are there any good gaming headsets that are worth the money? HyperX Cloud 2, SteelSeries Arctis? I know very little on it, I'm not a connoisseur of music, just want a decent set and going to see what deals are on during Black Friday. Seems like there are the audiophiles who say all gaming headsets are 100% shit and then the mainstream audience who say some are good.

Razer blackshark v2x.
best 60$ you gonna spend

Ah yeah I saw that one, do you have it and if yes, does it feel flimsy? That was my main turnoff when looking at it, doesn't look particularly durable. Also I definitely can't find it for 60$ lol

I have the SHP9500s. They're excellent.
>no need for amps
>ultra comfortable
>good sound quality
Get them faggot

Their bass is ass. other than that solid pair. but if u like bass no one should even consider them

its alright. they are comfortable as fuck tho. probb one of the most comfortable ones ive tried in my life. i would say expect them to break after 2 years or so. maybe 3 if u take care of them

Then get the Fidelio
It's SHP9500 + bass

Get this, either the MH751 or 752 if you got extra cash. Anything more expensive is overkill. I listen to a wide range of music and it sounds good for it all.

yeah its gonna be like 200$ to ship to my country with taxes. also official seller on amazon is out of stock

Which country is that? Even my shithole has a store which stocks these lol

These are just Takstar Pro 82's with a mic if you somehow can't get these.

General rule of thumb is to avoid gaming headsets unless they're made by brands that also make audiophile headphones (Sennheiser, Deber, Audeze, etc.).

Then there are gaming headsets brands that while being better than the norm they're still overall not worth that big amount of money. Most Astro and Steelseries products come from this category.

Then there's trash. Tritton, Razer, Logitech, you name them.

And lastly there are decent price/quality ratio headsets that use technology made by audiophile manufacturers. Hyper X are relatively good for the price you spend them for and they use Takstar technology.

>buying gayman headsets
get this and a modmic if you really want a shitty mic to mouthbreathe into

I have DT770 pro and they are nice if you like closed headphones

gotta be a special kind of vain to waste valuable desk space with headphone stands - they're just electronic earmuffs

how are the bass on these? and the mic any good?

they're extremely comfortable and sound decent for the price.

Protip: dont fall gor gaymen headset meme
Instead look for good headphones under $100. I think DT770 costs like $80 and m50x costs around $100 so pick from one of those.
