Tremendously bad input lag and easily hacked online. You can unfocus the window during online play to cause a desync and continually gain rating because it awards both players. Never mind all the people that have straight up put Cheat Engine to task.

Bought the first on a whim cause I love Tetris and wanted to try Puyo. Puyo's alright, and the game was super charming, but the mash-up stages were a fucking nightmare to learn.

Just release a more arcadey version of Tetris, thanks.

All of the above. One of the lead people developing a Tetris AI (reads values from memory) for the Steam version says it's pretty much guaranteed to eat inputs every few seconds. Online is definitely worse because of lagging.

Puyo VS Tetris is already unbalanced and unfun, dude. Puyo VS PDP would be a curbstomp because you can literally stall dying infinitely in PDP.
