>never have nintendo consoles growing up >always hear how superior nintendo games are, especially 3d mario >finally get a chance to play them all without messing with emulation >play and enjoy all the 2d games >finally get to play 64 >it's terribly aged garbage >hard to believe it was ever good to begin with >crash bandicoot had better controls and a functioning camera >so did tomb raider >beat 64, start sunshine >even worse >graphics are cool but the controls are somehow even worse >fludd mechanics are so godawful it's not even funny >constantly run into bugs and glitches like you'd find on steam shovelware
People are telling me galaxy is better but I honestly struggle to believe that Think I can sell this garbage and break even come march?
Yeah but there's games from the same age that play better
Levi King
>>crash bandicoot had better controls and a functioning camera >>so did tomb raider Bait >>beat 64, start sunshine >>even worse >>graphics are cool but the controls are somehow even worse >>fludd mechanics are so godawful it's not even funny >>constantly run into bugs and glitches like you'd find on steam shovelware This is factual though Sunshine is garbage
Gavin Lopez
>>crash bandicoot had better controls and a functioning camera and a worse level design, and worse gameplay, also it's barely a 3D game. snoys are truly a braindead race
Nathaniel Thomas
>Bait Things that happen in mario 64 but don't happen in tomb raider and crash bandicoot >you can't see the target of your jump >you slide off the level and get instakilled for brushing against a sloped surface on the opposite side of a bottomless pit >the item you're looking for is not visible because of very small drawing distance
Connor Edwards
*sniff*
Fee fi do figger I smell a Sony nigger
Levi Lopez
>and a worse level design, and worse gameplay, also it's barely a 3D game. And it's more fun than mario 64 for a casual playthrough Unless you want to devote dozens of hours into mastering (unnecessary) movement tricks, all the depth 64 has is useless
Blake Murphy
Crash doesn't even have momentum physics and all the levels are actual corridors.
Angel Lopez
Sometimes less is more
Isaac Stewart
This however is not one of those times.
Samuel Rogers
Disagree. Open levels don't work properly because of camera and draw distance issues. Momentum physics add useless depth and plenty of frustration.
Clearly not based on your whining. Stick to simpler games like Crash.
Ayden Rodriguez
oh it's the mongoloid who insists depth is "unnecessary", figures
Thomas Myers
>but the controls are somehow even worse
I'm baffled people think this shit
mario is insanely more responsive and tight to control in sunshine then in 64, it;s a huge fucking improvement
>momentum physics
Are a meme and just make games control like shit
Lincoln Ross
>Are a meme and just make games control like shit Git. Gud.
Isaiah Parker
sunshine > galaxy > 64.
Samuel Bennett
>how superior nintendo games are, especially 3d mario Only a complete braindead nintenkiddie could say something this retarded. It's your fault for believing it OP.
Jace Cruz
Mario 64 is excellent and people having problems with it are either retarded or posturing for internet points with "um actually... it's bad... you sheeple?. Mario Galaxy is excellent. Mario Sunshine is hot fucking unfinished garbage.
Bought a switch a few weeks ago. Bought smash bros. Game was complete ass. The switch is complete ass. Not worth $300. It is a children's toy. Nintendo fags should neck themselves for supporting that company,
Nolan Young
Yeah I don't get it either, Odyssey was probably the first rock solid 3D Mario, period. That is, from a modern perspective. There are few examples of 3D platforming that aren't deeply flawed.
