IT DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE SUBSTANCE
IT DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE SUBSTANCE
What's the issue. It's based on the pnp system
That's like saying the shit I took this morning was based on last night's dinner.
What's your issue with the system in the game?
Doesn't matter, everyone's still buying Cyberpunk 2077.
Are you retarded? The original cyberpunk was set in 2020, not 2077. Ponsmith updated accordingly.
>thinks he doesn't shit what he ate the day before
You're just mad because you can't make a good allegory
>shazam poster found out on wisconsin sex offenders list
>watch dog shit legion comes out
shilling against cyberpunk quality and quantity plummets
>12 skills
Considering we don't know what the in-game rpg mechanics are like (people are saying they are similar to TES), it's not really fair to say they abandoned the TT system. My understanding is that in the TT game there's really only netrunning and solo gameplay and the rest are like perks. Techie, Rockerboy, etc. are not really separate classes in their playstyle - they just have unique perks.
Which of these do you wish were included?
>handguns, rifles and blades on the left
>assassination, nerve and sniper rifles on the right
>not handguns, rifles and sniper rifles on the left
How do they manage to fuck up so badly with so few skills?
>Based on pen and paper
So you can litterally become a scaly or furry at the risk of getting cancer?
>My understanding is that in the TT game there's really only netrunning and solo gameplay and the rest are like perks. Techie, Rockerboy, etc. are not really separate classes in their playstyle - they just have unique perks
Yes, they just have different starting stats, and then each class had one special ability. And it could be argued that Solo had the most useful one, Combat Focus, which made it so that a lot of the time people just picked that one to help in combat
How do you go from this
To THIS
All of them. Every single one.
>people are saying they are similar to TES
Morrowind has 27 skills and 8 attributes.
Oblivion has 21 skills and 8 attributes.
Skyrim has 18 skills and 3 attributes.
Cyberpunk has 12 skills and 5 attributes.
Even TES mechanics which is relatively casual among CRPG games is more RPG than this "ADVANCED RPG MECHANICS BASED ON PEN & PAPER RPG SYSTEM UPGRADED TO THE 2077 SETTING"
>SUBSTANCE
yes, it needs to be video game you faggot OP
>food analogy
How would they come in play in this video game?
More is not always better though. I remember you could level up in oblivion by jumping around but it made the game unplayable due to difficulty scaling with your level
Yes because basing your game 1:1 on a pnp rpg system works so well.
DnD games like baldurs gate were soooo balanced
what did you want, for the game to come out with a dice?
I love how little emphasis on combat tabletop RPGs can have compared to video game RPGs.
>this guy eats actual shit
Woah looks like I'm really on Zig Forums - Video Games
Oblivion's leveling system is fucked, but that's not caused by the number of skills it gives you.
Removing content is now called "upgrading".
>Nearly ALL of the skills are designed to make your character a deeper and more versatile experience and good for far more than combat situations because tabletop games are usually 90% story, 7% combat and 3% calculating rolls.
>Everything is combat related. There isn't even anything for speech checks other than "cool" and "nerve".
I thought they were making a role playing game.
>>shazam poster found out on wisconsin sex offenders list
