Blame sony for not officially supporting DS4 on windows for ages
Devs aren't gonna add textures for button prompts from a controller that is unlikely to be used

I've never understood this shit, how hard can it be to implement?
Postal 2, a game you wouldn't even play with a controller, lets you select from like 10 different controller layouts for button prompts

>PC game does not support XInput, making prompts appear as [1] [2] [3]...

unironcially seen more PS4 controllers being used on PC than Xbox One/Xbox 360 controller this day and age.

might be because I'm a Playstation fag tho and my friends are.

talk me out of ordering dualsense instead of new ds4 since my ds4 broke

Only unknown support at the moment (if we talk about PC)
ds4windows.com

Probably watch and read about it, dual sense is just ds5 with another name

> Many Xbox games are on PC
> Vast majority of PS4 games are not
Gee I fucking wonder why.

>enter name
>cursor defaults to 'Confirm' after each character is input

They wouldn't?

FF7 pc release when naming chocobos
Had 3 chocobos named like A, N, and H because of it

yeah I wanted to fill in a preorder on impulse once it broke but I guess I can wait a month or two for opinions how it works on pc, thanks

>Blame sony for not officially supporting DS4 on windows for ages
it was natively supported since day 1.

>8 hours of battery life at best
why would you even have that shit?

Because some of us have PS4s for exclusives and PCs? Why get a controller for xbox? Nobody plays that shit.

>8 hours of battery life at best
Then you put a wire on it and it's fully charged in one hour, as opposed to buying a new pair of generic batteries or charging those rechargable batteries with a battery charger that take several hours.

it's been supported forever. It's ms who paid devs off to use xinput.

>charging those rechargable batteries with a battery charger that take several hours.
>what is partial charging?
retard

>what is partial charging?
something that will get you less than 8 hours of battery life

Newer games include them but yeah, it's pretty annoying for the first 5 minutes.

do the math, retard

>4h of charging
>30h of battery life
>2 hours of charging will get you 15h of playtime which is like double of ps4's controller battery

retard

>not always having 4 of these fully charged for immediate swapping at any time
PSvirgins truly don't know how bad they have it

Most games have texture mods for that though.

I've been using Nintendo controllers on PC ever since most switch controllers started being plug and play. NOTHING ever has Nintendo prompts. It's even worse when you start using a new controller, if steam detects it's a nintendo controller it enables this option to invert X/Y and A/B to make it match Xbox prompts on the new controller profile, but it's completely fucking confusing.

>muh batteries
Try having a good controller for once and battery related arguments won't even cross your mind.

Fuck your gay little glyphs.

xbone controller is much better than

>Using a controller
urafaggot

You need permission from Sony to include the libraries for it. Before they provided that everyone basically had to use xbox controllers when testing their PS exclusives on PC.

Anyone got the flinch webm?
