That was how it was.
The Pacific really needed a Winters-esque character. John Bologna was not it.
German half-tracks were based
They did IRL too.
Americans only won because they had a bigger industry and the Germans were already 90% defeated by the Russians when they finally found their balls and got going.
In the end the bad guys won WW2.
Yep. Thats actually how it was. Too bad they didn't even have the men to operate all that hardware towards the end lmao fucking idiots
but the nazis lost
Soviets and French had better tanks, America had better guns.
>My Sherman cannot deal with a Tiger! Wtf?
>Soviets had better tanks
Look at this retard
>absolute cucks Himmler and Speer have pissing contests out their vaginas about the logistics of wartime manufacturing
>meantime they're losing men by the thousands
The Nazi's were fucking idiots. Don't even get me started on Hess.
>Soviets
>Tanks
They literally drowned germans in corpses, like some sort of zerg horde. Fuck of with your "muh soviet supremacy" shilling.
Alot of german equipement (the sturmgehwer, mg42, the panther tank) was very technically advanced but much of it was also expensive, low quantity and hard to repair and do maintenance for. This combined with the resource shortages that plagued them was a bad combo.
Meanwhile you had the allies making shit like stens, grease guns, shermans and t34s all throughout the war.
MG42 supported by rifleman > Any other infantry in the war
>doesn't matter because there's hardly any Tigers on the western front anyway and the ones there are break down or run out of gas
>French had better tanks
True, but they suffered from horrible, old-fashioned leaders.
>i watched enemy at the gates, i r smrt!
The only retard here is you. German tanks had a bunch of problems.
>Soviet supremacy
I said Soviets AND French.
We're talking about videogames not historical stratgic deployment, stupid.
The germans had better everything thats why everyone was terrified of them. They spent all their money on radical modernisation.
People were still carrying ww1 weapons and the germans were rolling around futuristic vehicles. Thats what it felt like.
Fortunately germans are dumb and autistic and easily out smarted.
Exactly.
>tiger breaks down 3 times and requires a dozen engineers to fix on the way to the front
>when it gets there it has to fight 20 shermans while under artillery fire
Yes and now Mexicans are flooding America and Africans and Muslims are flooding Europe. Sure was worth it, wouldn’t you say?
Dont know shit about tanks but yea Americans had more reliable guns better suited for a long messy war. But video games never take this shit into account so
>break down or run out of gas
>meanwhile t-34 can be repairet with any chunk of metal of sufficient size as long as you have a file and runs for weeks on a single potato
The "wonders" of kraut "engineering".
have you seen germany lately
this is just so false that i dont even want to begin correcting it, read non-doctored history books
Don't even act like your lineage would still even be around today if the Nazis one you fucking amerimutt
>game has you save a German kid
>from regular German soldiers that are trying to flee a city
I don't think I've ever seen a single scene more fucking stupid and history-warping than that one in CoD WW2. You want to kill Krauts over and over again for the kikes at Hollywood? Fine, make those games. But what this game portrayed here, legit pissed me off.
Germans never fully modernized the supply chain though. A lot of the infantry were still marching on foot and relying on horse and wagon for moving equipment.
>encountering German tanks in multiplayer ww2 shooters
Always an oh shit moment.
I miss mil-sim light multiplayer games of the early 2000s
>German tanks had a bunch of problems.
Wehraboos are incapable to admit that german tanks suffered from tons of issues. Especially when it comes to the Elefant or Tiger I and II.
When I went in Normandy, I saw a Tiger. Apparently, it didn't received a single shot. The crew just abandoned it because of some technical issues.
>pic related
>WWII games
>It's the US vs. Germans on the western front again
You know that Germany only sent 30% of their army to the western front while 70% was dealing with the Soviets and still go fucked.
If the Russians din't get involved, Hitler would by absolutly destroy the Western front.
mg42 was not only very good but also cheap and pretty easy to maintain. It shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as the others. It's what gave German infantry an advantage over allied infantry despite being mostly equiped with the outdated K98k
It hasn't been that way in a long time.
T34>any german tank In the long run. Tigers were too heavy and slow, t34 was a cheap, light, could be repaired on the fly. Absolute genius simple and effective design.
>MUH CORPSE DROWNING
yeah, thats how war goes, when you fucking have no alliance during blitzkrieg with most efficient war machine in worlds history, on your own country soil. And apparently there was never any strategy from zhukov and the gang, during say Kursk or stalingrad lol. Just rural villagers in millions with pitchforks.
True. And one of Hitler's biggest mistakes was to not burn England to the ground asap
Fair enough. Don't know that much about the MG42 so I just kinda assumed
Just in case you never saw it
If you're taking the USSR on the eastern front into consideration, maybe. Otherwise, you've either got ahistorical bullshit like BFV or Rising Storm, which is 7 years old and probably dead by now.
The only thing I learn about hitler was that he was gay for blonde hair and blue eyes also that he liked pineapples stuck up his ass
CoD WWII, Hell Let Loose, Day of Infamy, and there is one more I am forgetting.
French tanks were superior in 1940 yes, but weren't able to be used properly due to obsolete doctrine (which to be fair was still in use by the whole world except Germany). Most were captured and used BY the Germans instead.
That's not true at all. Germans had some good tanks, but only late in the war and then only few of them. The Wehrmacht also relied heavily on horses and horse-drawn carts for logistics during all of WW2.
>this meme agaim
>If you're taking the USSR on the eastern front into consideration, maybe
Well I mean... thats the actual theater that mattered
>no radio
>cardboard tube periscope
>better tanks
It used too much ammo.
That is a very very big problem when you country has not heard about logistic.
Also who is going to win
Virgin MG42 crew or Chad US GI supported by artillery
The problem was that sovit tank crews were useless.
based Zig Forumstards
Soviet Union singlehandedly beat the Germans and you cannot tell me otherwise.
Don't forget the FG42, that rifle still upholds today
>lend lease
>Also who is going to win
>Virgin MG42 crew or Chad US GI supported by artillery
US, because by the time they arrive the german crew are all frozen corpses somewhere west of moscow and replaced by children and 60 year olds with improvised weapons.
No.
They raped them,literally
>When they finally found their balls
I'm stealing that one
Germany had some good shit but nowhere near enough to spread across their whole military. For every division with the best new tanks and motorized/mechanized infantry there was 2-3 with shit captured tanks, draught horses and leg infantry.
Yeah like they didn't get any help from the russian winter
When did you realise you literally cannot discuss ww2 stuff with russians? They have an entire myth about them winning the war with their magical tanks.
>ww2 game
>no mention of the eastern front
>America had better guns
OK, so IRL every pre-WW2 country experimented with semi-auto rifles because everyone realized it is the future. Only Americans had enough money to equip every soldier with one, but Soviets had their SVTs (and even AVTs, fully automatic versions, as impractical as it was), and by mid-war Germans had Gewehr-43s, getting rid of Gewehr-41s' faulty gas trap system and replacing it with basically SVT-like system. That's a win for Americans either way.
However, in most video games it's not about what an average soldier had. Those games are full of unicorns like FG-42s and StG-44s (barely over 425k produced during the war), and those guns, especially the StG, outclass stuff Allies had pretty badly. StG especially being the most modern gun of WW2.
It was a team effort, but Soviets did the majority of the heavy lifting. Don't forget that the Germans had a bunch of allies on their side.
