Fallout 4 has a lot of things wrong with it and most of that is due to consoles.
For example hdd space means most of the game is boarded up buildings.
This can get extremely fucking absurd sometimes with entire towns boarded up.

Consoles set the standard which makes it more viable to target high end graphics. Upscaling for high end PCfags is easy when you're already aiming for modern consoles anyway. Without Consoles low end PCs would be by far the dominate market and developers wouldn't push tech nearly as hard to cater to them. Most impressive PC games these days are console ports. No one wants to make a Crysis that wont sell cause the average PC user can't even run it.
