If the controller really is as good as Dave Lee says and the dev's really do reasonably use the feature, then this alone is enough reason to buy a PS5 over an XBOX

No it isn't. Gyro is much more important and devs hardly use that.

Dave said you could make out if you were walking on metal or ice. Pretty cool if you ask me.

You'd probably think a fart sealed in the ps5 box is a feature worth buying.

Just like the touch pad and motion controls on the ps4 controller really revolutionized gaming right?

Lmao does Zig Forums crib about every little fucking thing irl too? The amount of cribbing here by fags like you is astonishing.

Its upto the developers. The game demo preloaded in each ps5 demonstrates the dualsense capabilities. Expect first party to at least have it.

Hell yeah dude, Im definitely gonna buy the much weaker roachstation5 and play the TRASH version of games just so I can get gimmicky rumbles in my fingers even though Ive turned rumble off in all my games since forever

These gimmicks are always barely used in games. I remember Vita had a lot of different control inputs and Tearaway is probably the only game which fully utilized that. Same shit with gyro on ps4.

People don’t like waggling their controllers around for some dumb gimmick. Well, besides literal children. Haptic feedback adds much more immersion to games than gyro. If it’s like Nintendo’s joycon on I’ll probably pick up a ps5 controller for my pc

The Switch has HD rumble as well and no-one gives a shit

Gyro isn't about wagglan. If you think dual sticks is in any way superior to gyro aim then you're clinically retarded.

Lmao fuck off gyro aiming is kino and Splatoon was the best shooter of the gen

>The Switch has HD rumble
i still dont even know what that means.
ive played a bunch of switch games and it still only felt like your standard rumble in a controller.

KEEP THE CONTROLLER LEVEL AT ALL TIMES, ITS KINO

Why would you pick it for PC when it very unlikely to be supported there? Fuck, if it's anything like the joycon it will forgotten by in less than a year by 3rd party games.

>cries about wagglan
>but is still flailing his controller around like the twitchy sped he is
Take your meds.

Holy shit, we've literally reached the point where Snoyboys are defending Sixaxis controls. Can't wait for the Lair remaster, exclusively on PS5.

>ive played a bunch of switch games and it still only felt like your standard rumble in a controller.

Because other than some stuff in 1st party games, it was completely ignored. The concept was the same, in 1-2 Switch there was even a minigame where you could feel the number of marble inside the joycon.

It simulates ice cubes

>Because other than some stuff in 1st party games

did breath of the wild even have it? because i played the vast majority of it using the joycons and again, it didnt really feel any different.

what a beauty
this is the true next gen

SIT UPRIGHT
KEEP CONTROLLER LEVEL WITH THE GROUND
DONT MAKE SUDDEN MOVEMENTS WHEN NOT TRYING TO AIM
WEAR.THE.FUCKING.MASK

Mario Odyssey was the only game I remember feeling it being used efficiently.

I can't even remember

Let’s be honest here, why would 3rd party devs waste time supporting an, until now, nintendo only feature when hardly anyone buys 3rd party games on nintendo platforms? At least on the playstation that is not really an issue and if people like haptic feedback, it will entice more devs to support it. I don’t see a real reason why it wouldn’t be supported on pc provided sony releases ds5 drivers like they did with the ds4.

Only good thing to come from the PS5. Hope it works on PC.

I mean yeah, a Sony feature is more likely to be used by 3rd parties, but then you have the Speaker, the Touchpad, the Lightbar, etc.

Even with the DS4 driver I don't even know of a game that used the Touchpad or the Speaker on PC.

Xbros, when are we gonna get next gen controllers?

>P-PLZ BUY THE PS5! ;_;

Sony.ggers have reached a new low on this board.

Gyro is fucking stupid and feels like shit. You are just a tendie that has never used a mouse.

next gen xbox controller is just going to be just the regular controller but now with a rechargeable battery.

everybody's raving about it. how can M$ compete?

>and Splatoon was the best shooter of the gen
knew it was a casual tendie that has never played a shooter before. Even R6 Siege has a bigger following than Shittoon.

but its ok when xbox and nintendo fans do that, huh.

fucking retard.

I have no interest in the new consoles regardless, but it would've been nice if they went in a new direction with their controllers. A lot of midwits dismissed the steam controller, but it's honestly revolutionary when it comes to input. It's just that it has a learning curve and requires tweaking. Not perfect by any means, but the customization software is god-tier and the trackpads have almost endless possibilities.

Sony gives you something that literally allows you to FEEL the game, and all you can think about is how you can bang bang wahoooo your way to easier headshots? Fucking hell.

xbox series xxx pro, circa 2024

>Superior input and control is somehow less important than footsteps in sand
You are literally autistic.

>daily Switch shill threads about buying ports
>b-but Sony!!
Ok faggot

Better performance, visuals and resolution.
