Literally half the games in this image aren't though

Imagine someone depriving themself of Hollow Knight, Hotline Miami and Super Meat Boy because of this gay contrarian mentality.
Wait, you're not being serious are you, user?

I don't play shovelware, sorry

Nah. Indies are easily as creatively bankrupt as AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA developers

>mobile games
>trannies
there you go

I found it extremely repetitive despite the attempts to spice up levels with modifiers and got bored before finishing it. Besides that my favourite element of the original was how many levels were setup with unique scenarios that either posed a puzzle to figure out how to proceed or where you went on a trip through them from A to B. MCD's are all more like arenas you just have to survive in long enough.

It has good points too though; the new weapons and throwing mechanics are a lot of fun, and while there's not nearly enough I like most of the modifiers they thought up for it. Just doesn't work for me as a roguelite.

I still find this chart hard to believe because TF2's community is relentlessly hostile and spergy towards girls and in all my years playing I've encountered very few. Unless a vast majority of eveeyone without a mic I encountered was secretly a chick I feel like something has to be off there.

Great taste. Was the THPS remake really that good? I haven't bothered with any recent THPS release in years due to how they've all been pretty shitty. I might pick it up if it's solid

Hey

what about pixel art textures?
surely you don't hate pixel art textures?

What the fuck....I thought men were based.....

It's very, very good. Easily one of the best remakes of the gen and given its of two really good games it's easily a top 10 contender for the year imo. If you played either game a ton you might notice some slighy differences (well beyond the obvious changes to backport some improvements from 2 into 1) but its nothing as bad as the Crash Trilogy fucking with your ability to stick certain jumps because of the shape of his collision box being off - I got used to them really quick.

only remotely interesting games on this list:

Nex Machina,
Sine Mora,
Furi,
Rogue Legacy
Dead Cell

Anyone else kinda feel like women are the better sex? They don't waste their time with videogames (and have better taste when they do), they are less violent, they live longer, they are healthier, they are more calm and rational, they have 3x less fatal car accidents per mile driven because they do less risky practices, they are a lot less shallow than men and want emotional support and see sex as an extension of emotions rather than just for the hedonistic physical pleasure, women are higher IQ, women are more prevalent in every top paying, influential field despite being less socially advantaged, women are more conscientious about environmental issues and animal abuse, etc.

Seriously what the fuck do us men even have going for us? Even the strongest men bend the knee for women. We had so many advantages for so many centuries and still the women btfo us so quickly

HOLY FUCK THIS GAME PISSES ME OFF
>bro what if we made every gun super innacurate
>then what if we made half of the weapons require you to suicide to use them
>then what if we gave you only one way to move
>then what if we add a fuckton of sliding to make movement super clunky
>then what if we made damage fall off a fucking cliff as soon as you get past wave 50

Pretty bad taste. GW3, OlliOlli 2, Hollow Knight, and Spelunky are all quality games - plus Rogue Legacy is shit.

N++ is the best game on that image you retards

Its pretty much just a level pack for an already mediocre game. There's a hundred better controlling platformers with more detailed level design, its sole value is in being "decent enough" feeling and being loaded with a fucking truckload of (short) levels so you can sink a lot of time into it. I'd recommend it only if I knew the person asking just wanted the platformer equivalent of grinding in an MMO; repetitive mush that triggers small dopamine hits at regular intervals.

You clearly didn't play it much at all. The levels slowly introduce new mechanics and are designed so that there are layers of challenges in each one depending on if you go for the special requirements, so what appears to be a simple level, can actually be very complex when you go for certain challenges. It has literally the best physics and control system of any platformer out there. It took them 12 years to develop and both devs are borderline autistic and wanted the game to be a definitive send-off and focused on making every aspect of it essentially perfect. It's basically the Tetris of platformers except with thousands of levels of highly curated content, plus a very in-depth physics system and robust level editor.

We're simoly not going to come to sn agreement here. I don't think the new mechanics it adds offer any meaningful depth or variety to what is to me a very repetitive game, and stuff like the extra collectibles or requirements are just common to the genre.
>It has literally the best physics and control system of any platformer out there.
Dustforce DX, Sonic Mania, DKC2, and Rainworld off the top of my head all trounce it.
