Yeah. What are the last games?? Lords of Shadow 1 was a game I had to try really hard to like, and 2 was past what I could swallow. Then the Netflix show started with 4 episodes that weren't good, but could've built into something decent maybe? But it turned into absolute garbage made by people that aren't fans for people that aren't fans.
Keep dreaming, order of ecclesia might've been dumb anime waifu shit but it was the last game that wasn't total trash. It was 12 years ago. It's time to pack it up and just enjoy what we've already got.
Fuck Bloodstained, absolute garbage. Iga is a hack. Best two games I've played recently are La Mulana and The Mummy Remastered, and both of those are only adjacent genres to Castlevania.

OoE, with all of its flaws, was a good sendoff, and Bloodstained was alright. Not to mention the general oversaturation of the genre.
I'd rather the entirety of vania be dead, and not run the risk of a shitty game to ruin the legacy of an overall great series. Anyone else feel me?

Poor Miriam. The villain of her game ends up being a much better heroine in the off canon retro throwback spinoff title.
Maybe if they stick with the CoTM style. Those are just so much more fun. The main game just gave me a headache.
