I've seen people only buy games because they "want to support a sequel". They just play through the game (or sometimes not even that) and then start asking about sequels (multiple) not even 2 weeks into the game's life. I've also seen people ask for remakes of games they never played in the first place, because they "couldn't get into it". It's the reason why games like FF7R are graphically beautiful and have nothing that actually resembles the original game.
Zoomers have taken over the industry and it will only ever get worse.
