why is there a drain

glad they dont

what game? the rendering on that lamp is incredible

Moving those make it not worth it.

I have a 75 inch just like that in my bedroom. Its only 720p but damn is it comfy.

Old giant TVs are great. Their sheer size and weight made people hold onto them for literal decades. They typically still work too.

>he doesnt have a drain in his living room

DLP was garbage. Supersized McTV.

>those weekends as a kid staying up all night playing Battle for Bikini Bottom on one of these

*sip* yup, those were the days.

that is where he keeps his miniature trap girlfriend

Is each pixel as big as your pinky

Pretty sure that’s a heating vent, looks about as old as the tv though

yeah, they learned from their mistakes. Amazingly fast in the case of that tv style.

I had a rear projection TV back in the 2000s. Glad I got rid of it finally.

We posting our tvs?
Our SONY tvs, in our living rooms, mostly used from playing video games???

My dad has one of these collecting dust in his basement and wants me to come help him move it out to get rid of it but I kinda want to keep it. They're just such a bitch to move and take up so much goddamn space

What kind of 3rd world hell hole do you live in that you don't know what central hvac looks like

I remember having a beast Mitsubishi tv like this when I was a kid. It was always the worst object in the house to move when he had to move it. But I have fond memories still.

They were so expensive in Russia

>central hvac
>not under floor ducted heating and over head evaporative
You live in one of those shit holes thats' too cold or too humid to use an efficient system?

They sure don't, they're way better now

Yes, except, basement

I actually really liked my rear projection DLP, I really didn't want to get rid of it but it was just time to move on

Yes I live in a place with modern amenities. I'd love to turn this thread into shitposting about why America is better than wherever place you call a home but good tv threads are hard to come by

My aunt used to have this really giant tv in her living room that I still remember. Christmas at her house used to be amazing.

>AC underfloor is good
No. It's inefficient as fuck and you're a retard. Rooftop evaporative is better unless you're from Florida in which case you wouldn't be defensive about AC because you'd just say "I'm from Florida".

Nice tvs, bros.

I still use my childhood CRT, thankfully I have space in the garage. I turn it on every now and then to play retro games.

dang

it's pretty big, thankfully it's on wheels, so it isn't too difficult to move.

Not him, but Canada.

>floor cracks and bends under the weight of the tv
>tv falls through the floor into the basement and breaks
