that's because they're all the fucking same. The innovations every new title brings to the tables are so irrelevant, you tend to prefer one or the other based on which plot you like best, and which game has the best girls.
Still, P3 is the first nu-persona and consequently, the best. Also has best girl Yukari no it's a no brainer.

Gameplay-wise, it has aged like milk and P4 and P5 improved on it in every way. I still like it the best story-wise though.

i'm playing fes for the first time now,only ever played a bit of portable.
i'm using a "never tired" cheat because that mechanic pisses me off to much,at least in early game

The tactics system is my favourite combat system in the series and I'm still convinced that people are too retarded to use it properly because in every one of these threads people bring up the 'marin karin' meme where they complain because they always left every character on act freely instead of using tactics.

I liked it when I played it about 9 years ago, so I don't think P5 has anything to do with it. I never did go back to finish The Answer but that's all.

I wouldn't mind the tactics system so much if the AI was either less stupid or more customizable. I played P3 about 3 times and there was quite instances where my party acted like complete idiots when I needed them the most and it lead to Mudo/Hama deaths or Tartarus bosses wiping the floor.
