wb Assassins Creed?

OP said "stealth".

AC games were never about stealth. All the games are about making a show of killing your targers.

What's his name?

Hitman 3 in two months

Stealth goes to shit when story starts to take the lead.
A story in stealth games should only be the reason you are at the location you are at.
When you start making the game into a cutscene, stealth goes out fo the window.

Styx.
Also the new hitman games are shit.

Nothing went right. I'm glad that no one is interested in playing that misogynist piece of trash anymore

It had to fall and learn to pick itself back up again after the disaster known as Absolution

Thief has great story though

This is probably part of the reason stealth games don’t sell. You can’t make a stealth game into a cinematic experience without completely ruining it. Hitman gets it the best by making each level its own self-contained story that you uncover through gameplay.

I’d actually argue one of the reasons that MGS became the most popular stealth franchise is because it basically had a JRPG/anime style storyline, but they attached stealth gameplay to it. Hell, MGS only became a stealth game due to the technical limitations of the time.

So does hitman if you pay attention to it.

It's got no overarching story and it's broken up into short replayable episodes, thus pandering to both perfectionist autists AND zoomers with short attention spans.

eurojank garbage

Isn't it ending after 3?

>I'm glad that no one is interested in playing that misogynist piece of trash anymore

Imagine being such a limp wristed feeb that you unironically use the word "misogynist"

It's a different kind of stealth system so that's not entirely fair

Broken games, the franchise is ruined

>It's got no overarching story
It does have one, you just have to really spend time listening to NPC dialogues to really uncover it. It also only uses cutscenes when absolutely necessary. It speaks volumes that Colorado and Hawke’s Bay are the only two times in the game where you get a cutscene mid-mission and even then those cutscenes are short and skippable.

Why are the animations so janky and have so little variety?
Somehow HITMAN feels ambitious and not at the same time. It's all size and level designs, but none of the little things from the older games.
No varied fiber wire animations like in the old ones, jamming someone with a syringe is a weak poke instead of the almost ritualistic process it could be to sedate someone in Contracts.
That sorry, laughable excuse for a mounting animation when you pull a sniper rifle out of a briefcase, which only one sniper model even has.
No revolvers, everything is a reskinned 1911 or whatever the HWK1 is, yet three million reskins of knives and wacky unlocks.
Instead of a quick neck snap the second someone touches a staircase 47 will essentially start screaming while punching someone in the face, alerting everyone.
That bland voice acting across every level when even if not that great the older games would try to have the NPCs speak in the local language

Just what are the priorities here? The game feels so extremely uneven. Sure, it's pretty and big and you can kill a target five different ways, but it's like a movie set, past the flashy everything is just held up by cardboard. The older games felt more consistent, even if HITMAN is still a trilogy worth your time.

The World of Assassination trilogy will end, not the series itself.

You know, Marrakesh gets a lot of hate, and while A Gilded Cage is pretty crap, A House Built on Sand really elevates the level and makes proper use of it. It's a shame to see it go forgotten so often. Yet World of Tomorrow sees so much love despite misusing its map so hard as well

Did PCchads save the Hitman series?

>so little variety?
Speedrunners complained about the animations being too long, so they shortened them.

I'm still pissed the PC release is delayed by a year. Fucking IOI.

>hitman 3 will have 1st person mode
>aw hell ye-
>but only on ps5 :^)

>unlock progression locked behind always online
I didn't ask for this

Yeah, didn't expect the new games to be good.

It is seriously annoying, I'm curious about the switch version or ps4 version, I might get one in the wait period if it's really bothersome.

And Elusive Targets time-locking content for a single player game.
People complained, IOI just doesn't care.

I have like 300 in the Nu-Hitman ones and have really enjoyed them a lot. Hitman 3 being an epic store exclusive is making me forced to wait a year. And another year for the GOTY edition to be 75% discounted

Shitty Neighbour from Hell + 007 fanfic.

Styx is better

GAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Switch version is cloud-based. Dunno how well those things run

I have like 1000 hours in Blood Money, 200 hours in 2/Contract, about 100 in NuTman and 20 in NuTman 2.
I felt somehow NuTman 2 was worse at everything and kept all the shit I disliked in NuTman.
