I actually enjoyed 2013 Tomb Raider. thought it was gonna be garbage but the gameplay was fun, if you play it the right way at least. if you jusr sit behind cover the entire game then it will be boring.
The story was really bad, but easy to ignore.
Rise was garbage, I thought I would like it more than 2013 but it was awful. gameplay was boring and the story went from bad but ignorable to aggravatingly awful.

One of the worst reboots which got an undeserved praised from critics and normies alike, it turned a cool character and franchise into a a generic snoozefest, Lara isn't a cool adventurous confident architect anymore, she's just another boring ass character who keeps talking about how scary her situation is, the gameplay is just a shitty third-person shooter with all puzzles being made easy for retard brains and platforming is a joke.
The game is full of shitty QTEs, segments where you are climbing which is actually just you holding the analog stick, it's filler, it's full of fucking filler.
Get Tomb Raider: Anniversary instead.

Shadow's only saving grace is how fun the tombs are but they're only once in a while. Rise has some decent characters, the Baba Yaga DLC was fun, and the gameplay is a big improvement over 2013 but the areas aren't as good as 2013. 2013 is rough around the edges and it starts to fall apart later, but it's okay.

I liked the first one though. It was fun to play and Lara's growth from vulnerable weak girl to actual tomb raider was nice to watch. I'd doubt the sequels can deliver that feeling again but it's worth playing the first at least.

I liked it, the setting and cinematics are fun and exciting to watch however I will say this is a bit of a movie game, a lot of game play is just basically hold forward and watch as laura does stuff. It's not devoid of gameplay but its got a lot of slow shit in it. The story isn't terrible though
