Man, why is it that I'm more intrigued by the story behind how the shadow queen got captured than the story you play through during the main game in TTYD? There's just this random painter that gives you the background to everything on a rooftop.

You probably just really like lore

I honestly don’t mind the newer games going into the paper aspect more, though I’d prefer if it was something that could be paper related while still being explainable in universe. I do wish they’d actually have interesting designs again, though

What was his problem?

Origami king is the direction the series needed to go. Just add back the depth of the battle system from 1 and 2, be a bit more creative with characters and we're good. Bobby is also the best character in the series

Probably. I watch those hour long videos on WH40k lore for entertainment. I don't even play warhammer.
Stop asking, Slick.

Whatever you say, poopliss

I agree. Presentation wise, the game is amazing. The environments are gorgeous and the music is damn good. I always never liked the jazzy/goofy focused ost of Sticker Star so, I'm glad for the more diverse soundtrack. It's a pipe dream to hope for a return but, man it would be nice to see a Paper Mario game with this style having a traditional battle system that improves on the originals depth.

However, your statement about the best character is objectively wrong you dumb faggot. That belongs to Lady Bow.

Oh no, that spot still goes to Tippi or Count Bleck.
