The original music was slow, harsh, oppressive, it represents exactly the Flamelurker boss fight, that’s how you see it is a good music. The new one is generic as fuck, with a choir that we don't even know what he's doing there, the atmosphere is ruined.
Demon’s souls remake ? More like, Demon’s soulless remake.
Eat shit I'm buying a PS5 for this game and there's nothing you can do you sexless faggot.
Hunter Turner
new one sounds better
Bentley Mitchell
> NEW = BAD > OLD = GOOD > reject modernity, embrace tradition Zig Forums gets btfo'd on this shit every fucking day. If you're so upset you live in 2020 then please just kill yourself, we're not getting time machines.
Levi Sanders
Snoy defense force is getting desperate, huh.
Jaxson Cooper
I dont know man but as a non- demon souls player, that old armor spider theme sounds like a joke. Not bad, but sounds like it belongs to a comedy, the trumpets kinda kills the mood
Samuel Mitchell
>Bluepoint uses the old soundtrack FUCKING LAZY PORT >Bluepoint makes a new soundtrack based on the original FUCKING SOULLESS PORT
Just go play the original and fuck off
Landon Fisher
Because western retards sucks for making videogames And heres this fag from reddit.
Joshua Evans
Also i listened to the flamelurker theme and it sounds like it belongs to a horror 90's point and click adventure
The instrumentation in demon souls sounds like crap, to be honest. Music isnt bad, but instrumentation is shit.
Jaxon Bell
>giving a shit about video game soundtracks >in a SOULS game of all games
Look at how fucking atrocious the wall of Boletaria looks in that cover art too, thats how its gonna be in game. Some stupid fucking fantasy wall that makes zero sense. Why would a military industrial complex be decorated like that?
Don't bother, Zig Forums is full of subhuman zoomers who didn't play the original and of course, mentally ill SnoyBoys who won't even buy or play this remake, yet they are shilling it just to hype PS5.
Luis Roberts
The only ones who have gotten BTFO are you zoomers. The old one sounds far better. The original version also has objectively superior visual and audio design on every other front as well.
I'd need to hear the new version in isolation, but I actually do kind of agree that the old one is a bit more interesting. Without using useless terms like "soul," and "generic," the original DeS soundtrack had a small, chamber orchestra that had EXTREMELY tight reverb. You could tell that was not recorded in a hall, or put through any extensive effects to make the reflections wider. That made the music sound very dry, and "punchy." Which I personally felt gave a very "raw" feeling to the music. Something almost primordial about it.
That said, that might've not be the intent, and originally they DID want a big sound, but due to limitations- budget, Acts of God, that couldn't happen.
Ian Baker
damn thank god for the new themes
Dylan Murphy
in a audiovisual medium, music is really important to set the tone and to intensify emotion, just imagine not caring about doom 2016 music for example
