I was set out to beat some of the games in a reverse weakness order, saving the easiest guy for last.
So far I've done Mega Man 2 (starting with Quick Man, ending with Metal Man) and Mega Man X (starting with Flame Mammoth and ending with Chill Penguin, essentially making it a mostly dashless run too).
Was a fun way to try and beat the bosses with only the buster (Sting Chameleon can suck my dick though, even if I sort of figured him out).

All Zero and ZX games are solid, with Zero 3 and 4 being the best games in the series. However, the first two Zero games can be very unforgiving and grindy, and the ZX games attempt to mix Mega Man with exploration elements, but not that well honestly. So I recommend those games to people that already enjoy the X games.
