It's a good way to see their game underperform. They are already missing the new console launchs and missing the holiday window as well will only cause more pre-order cancellations, loss of interest, and investors pulling out. Might as well expect layoffs at CDPR if they fuck it up again.

Their problem was announcing the game too early when they had nothing ready yet. I understand the need to build up hype for it but in this case its backfiring on them. For me I prefer the way that jp devs announce their games with it being a couple months out from release and instead they go through a huge marketing blitz to get the word out.
