it's so soulless
It's so soulless
cope dextrannie
be careful user you'll anger the shills
for example
>defending cut pokemon
it's not even the biggest issues with this LOL
SwSh is buried and issues in the national dex one is just below the surface (in the code)
Yeah but you bought it anyway so you failed.
no I watched one stream and one review
(you) bought it
>play the new games to use the new pokemon, so didn't give a shit about the dex cut
>ost is nearly the best in the series
>environments/atmosphere is great
>dlc adds more Wild areas
It's pretty good desu, it's been great finally playing this post-shitstorm, and once again proves that you should never listen to Zig Forums.
It was fun
I honesttly believe that most arguments against it are just deluded fans waking up. The games never looked good, you might think the gba and ds games did but just compare them to other sprite based games from their handhelds, and they simply can't compete, pokemon always had cheap and unimpressive graphics, if the gba games were released in this year, Zig Forums would collectively say they look like indie trash.
On top of that pokemon hasn't been challenging whatsoever since gen 2, but somehow there were hardcore fans that were willing to play an entire piss easy game just to finally arrive at the post-game and get a challenge.
However, the vast mayority of players never cared about the post game, the gameplay became so different from the main game, so based on grind and stats and the like, so everyone just took a look at it and thought "thats kinda cool" and stopped playing inmediatly after, only a very small minority actually cared about the post game.
Thats because pokemon has always been a casual franchise, nobody cares about grinding, and EV/IV's, etc.
And that's exactly why the games where a tremendous success, nothing that the real pokemon fans cared about was removed, only what the people who were in denial for years, believing that a casual franchise would cater to them if they waited long enough.
You are at fault of your own disappointment, SwSh were good and will shape all future pokemon games, and that's a good thing.
I've been sitting on it for the last year. Should I buy the new games with the DLC? I just want to play more Pokemon and your argument is a compelling one.
>SwSh were good
Pokemon wasn't even challenging in Gen 2 except for first 5 Gyms and the Pokemon League. Last third of Johto is a cakewalk and all of Kanto is a cakewalk. The only reason Red is difficult is because Kanto is so underleveled that you can't possibly be close to his team's levels by the end.
>the only reason Red is hard is because they made it hard
Lmao Zig Forums will make any excuse to try and make things seem bad even when they're so tremendously based.
At least it’s a step in the right direction. Sun and moon were so goddamn awful
do you have nintendo online and enjoy playing with others?
If both answers are yes then go for it, I say that because while I think SwSh are good, they are overpriced for what they offer, and for better or for worse the DLC's are the best part of the games, so not buying them to save money won't really benefit you, and if you like online play I think that could make the games really worth their price.
If you dont like online, just buy them if you don't mind them being overpriced.
arrest urself sesgrannie
have you tried having type advantage for his pokemon?
SWSH is the biggest mistake in video game history.
it didn't only ruin the franchise forever, but it totally ruined the fanbase and made it in constant war between real fans and mindless consoomers
>gen 2
>challenging
bad bait
The N64 trees are soulful though
But yeah GF did lie. hey should have just been honest and confessed they want the game out by November 2019 so they're cutting Pokemon out. Still bad but honest at least.
SUMO was kino as fuck man. Hawaiian settings, chilling with friends from island to island, mega evo, alolan forms. Ultra wormhole with ultra beast. Game was perfect, just admit it.
>>ost is nearly the best in the series
couldn't be any more wrong. There's only like five good tacks in SwSh at the most. It's as weak as Gen 6's music.
>On top of that pokemon hasn't been challenging whatsoever since gen 2
It was never challenging.
>nobody cares about grinding, and EV/IV's, etc.
nobody cares because you have to grind to get your desired, competitive-ready pokémon. nowadays, they have cut down on the grind with exp candies, hyper training and the changes to breeding since gen 6 but they can and should improve on it still
fpbp
It's so soulful
the saddest part about these games was there was potential for it to be really good, instead they made a fairly average pokemon game. For a leap from handheld to console it was so disappointing that this was the best they could come up with.
The top left image has shit colored wall textures, ew
You would never say this to someone in an actual conversation because ypu know how silly that sounds
legit an upscaled PS2 game
Sword and Shield kinda suck but it gave me Runerigus, so at least ONE good thing came out of it.
Fucking love this dude and Cofagrigus.
like every pokemon game past gen 2
>The games never looked good
the reason why people bring this up is that Game Freak gave the crock of shit excuse that they removed Pokemon so that the games can look better. We all found out that was a blatant lie.
>On top of that pokemon hasn't been challenging whatsoever since gen 2, but somehow there were hardcore fans that were willing to play an entire piss easy game just to finally arrive at the post-game and get a challenge.
The thing is that Game Freak continuously adds all these features such as Pokemon Camp/Refresh/Amie that make your Pokemon a literal god, NPCs shower you in revivles, the Camp feature is basically a mobile Pokemon Center. And yet, the only games since the 3D era that make you at least think for a second are USUM. Usually when a developer adds all of these accommodating features, they beef up the surrounding other features so you're not just lollygagging about. This is what people mean by the 3D games being "piss easy", because you pretty much need to break your own legs and tie your arms behind your back to get any sense of a resistance.
I'm not asking for something like Pokemon Kaizo or Reborn/Rejunivation where they throw so much bullshit at you that it's nearly trial and error. Just give me something on par with USUM at the very least from now on.
t. poketranny
>OLD $40 GAMES WERE BAD SO IT'S OK IF THIS $90 GAME IS ALSO BAD
pokefags deserve a holocaust
Agree, fuck high resolution 4K HD 1080p VR grafix. This shit looks like a video game.
I feel like this is a good point that doesn't get brought up all that often. Pokemon was never truly difficult, and yet each game they find ways to make it even easier, somehow. A game that doesn't challenge you whatsover isn't going to get an emotional response out of you when you accomplish anything, and we're very quickly approaching the benchmark of being able to just mash your way through the game blindfolded.
>dextranny
>trannies are actually defending this shitty game
cope and dilate galartranny
>Glitch stooping this low
Fuck, her music is ruined for me now.
SWSH is trannies' favorite game after Animal Crossing
