Bump

Bumper

i think the real issue was they couldn't summon people to save their ass everytime

>make a genre that prints money and is relatively consistent
>change every aspect of it
>doesn’t sell like hotcakes
Bungie did the same shit now look at the trash they make.

If I'm going to play a normal action game, I'd rather play something that isn't complete shit. Something like Ninja Gaiden.

But I love Sekiro.

>why can't soulsfags appreciate the game played exclusively by soulsfags
If you are wondering why you had to bump your own thread twice it's because your topic was retarded

It's not really a "fast paced action game" at all. Lock onto enemy, tap L1 button until red blob appears, hit R1... rinse and repeat.

Unironically my favorite From game and the only one I bothered to platinum due to sheer enjoyment of the gameplay.

is this game closer to dark souls or ninja gaiden?

Dark souls by far

Baby mode ninja gaiden

If anything soulsbros are the kind of people whom stick with the game until they git gut.

>day 2 of grinding the shura gauntlet charmless
it's hard

soulfags pretending to not be soulfags the thread

Yeah, you got filtered

its nothing like ninja gaiden
kind of its own deal honestly but definitely souls like

shinobi souls

Souls games as as fast paced, especially DS3 and BB.

I haven't played it since I platinum it a few months ago, and boy em I rusty, I thought that I would breeze through in a charmless run, lol.

Exactly this... It took me literally around 8 hours to get through the first area and reach Gascoigne in BB. After that, I finally got used to the games, although I still wasn't great. It was a bit upsetting that almost every boss in DaS2 could beat without effort on your first try though. Sad thing is Sekiro makes DaS2 look like Ghosts 'n Goblins in comparison... Difficulty is DEFINITELY not the game's issue.

I appreciate it.
I just don't like parry mechanics on any game and this game is completely centered around parrying.

For me was until Genichiro, when the rhythm mechanics finally clicked and started to sparing back and forth with him, so satisfying like actual high level sword play must feel.
Before that my approach was hit and run, kinda like DS.

>hurr 'soulsfags' hate this game
what a retarded narrative, how much more hollow can you get? pathetic. the game's fine, if a little shallow. I picked it up yesterday, after months of not touching it, because they released a new patch with extra content. I played the boss rush mode and basically fucked on a majority of the bosses like it was cake. the problem with this game is that bosses are way too predictable compared to bosses in dark souls games. some bosses, like emma and owl father, are more difficult to handle but that's just because I haven't been exposed to them as much as the others and eventually they'll become too predictable too. this isn't true for dark souls bosses, at least in dark souls 3, that have more nuance and take time to learn how to deal with
>inb4 retards feign superiority and laugh as though anything's funny
go ahead, dickhead. laugh away, but you're retarded. in sekiro, most everything a boss throws at you can be thwarted with deflection, even some of the supposed 'perilous attacks'. what isn't deflected is jumped over or mikiri countered into oblivion.
>hurr it's the same in dark souls 3 because you just have to roll to avoid all damage
no, dipshit. yes, rolling is your bread and butter if you want to totally master the game, but there is nuance in a boss' moveset that may require a different approach. some moves can be parried, some moves are better off blocked, some weapon movesets are better for certain bosses, certain elemental effects are better for certain bosses, and so your equipment and spells can dictate some variation, if however minor, in how you play. in sekiro it's just not the same. yeah, you get prosthetics but they're akin to the hunter's tools from bloodborne; either very situational or absolutely useless.

but whatever. I don't dislike sekiro, but I prefer dark souls. hopefully elden ring is a natural evolution and not just a shallow single player experience.

>the prosthetics are useless
>the bosses are predictable and shallow
Why do I feel like you didn't actually play the game

retard

I can. Sekiro's great. I do have to admit, it definitely wasn't as exciting after playing through every other Souls game. For all the things Sekiro does different, it's still pretty much just another Souls game. I'd like to see From make something ACTUALLY different instead of something "different, but really just the same"

>get told that the firecrackers are OP as fuck against ape boss
>try it out
>hold so few of them that it lets you knock out a free 5% of the boss's health
Oh, so fucking useful. If you suck, the firecrackers can't save you. If you don't suck, you don't need the firecrackers. And yes, the bosses are easy as fuck. Aforementioned ape is extremely fucking predictable and is touted as being a harder boss. Or at least it was. I don't know what you guys pretend is hard nowadays.

Maybe shitters find guardian ape hard, but try demon of hatred on ng+7 you fucking faggot

>hurr durr why didn't you suffer the game 8 times to get to my evidence that the game is actually hard and not easy as fuck
What's next? I didn't really experience how hard the game is unless I did a fucking handstand while sucking my dick while playing the game?

i genuinely found the game hard, souls games were a lot easier to me
good for you if it's too easy i guess, but that's not the common experience
