This thing was introduced nearly 4 years ago and Nomura has said that enough hints have been given out that it's possible to correctly guess the contents of it, so what is it?

soras mom

Do you think she brought his dinner along with her?

Is it a nigger? Will he introduce crime and racism and make sora kill the nigger menace? And then Kairi will go sjw on him and harass him for killing the niggers and she’ll also fuck all of them. Sora will purify her with the WHITE light but not before she’s more niggercum than princess of light.

The real Kingdom Hearts

Nigger is such a funny word to say eh? It just rolls off the tongue. Nigger haha so fun.

Sora's feet

Calling it now, in Memory of Melody Kairi will somehow come into contact with Youngest Xehanort from Dark Road and forgive him for his future self killing her.

>Foretellers are named after the Seven Deadly Sins in latin
>There's 7 deadly sins but only 6 foretellers, Master of Master is the 7th
>the only deadly sin name not given yet is Superbia (Pride)
>box has X Super written on its emblem
>the emblem has 13 spikes
>there are 13 locks on the box, 3 each on sides and 7 in the front, with one of them being bigger than the others, most likely symbolizing each of the Foretellers and the big one symbolizing Master of Masters
>his lock has an emblem with "horns"
>Lucifer sin was Pride

Nomura just going Bible.

Well Maleficent does think the box holds a book of prophecies, which the most interesting book of the bible certainly counts as, as well.

I can't stop laughing at this pic

MoM himself

It's Jenova's head.
It's always Jenova's head.

If MoM is in the box, how did he talk to Young Xehannort, and who is the Black Coat in Shibuya? I mean it's an assumption to say that particular guy is the MoM, but it seems likely.

>They find the Super Kingdom Hearts inside, which had a small part carved out to create the Kingdom Hearts we know now

Inside the box is just the universe. Some real paradox shit where the box both exists in the universe and holds the universe

He put his heart in it so he can travel to any point in time that has his heart, just like xehanort could with his various versions.

IT'S A HORCRUX HARRY

>How could this character defy all the established rules of the series?
Are you new to KH or something?

It contains our own universe.

I can't think of anything argument against that, but it seems a bit redundant for him to make such a big deal about Luxu keeping his Gazing Eye around through history if he could just go and see things himself.

As much as it sounds like my original suggestion is a joke, I unironically think this will be what Nomura ends up going for in the end.
Make it a double meaning where the KH universe is a toybox for his ideas, sorta thing.

Still think MoM is punished adult sora from a different timelime trying to find a way to save everyone.

You really make me miss when KH was just a nice fictional story, and not some nonsensical meta bullshit.

What ever is in the box I know it's not going to be satisfying to anyone if it's either a copout or something small. Feels like a case of go big or go home, but at the same time, it's Nomura

This was one of the taglines for KH3 that was used in multiple trailers, so you might be onto something.

Somewhat similarly I actually think the next game with Sora as the protag will have him go to the new live action versions of some of the old worlds like Agrabah and Beast's Castle to really show he's in a new worldline/dimension or whatever.

Luxu keeping the Eye is to keep history correct.
He wrote the Book of Prophecies because he knew the future, he knew the future because he abused the Power of Waking like Sora most likely, this is why he faded.
Because he knew of his imminent fading, he extracted his heart and put it in the box.
Then he had the Gazing Eye prepared for Luxu to witness history to remove the paradox that caused him to fade out of existence.
Once the Gazing Eye witnesses everything that MoM witnessed when abusing the Power of Waking, it will technically restore proper order of time and thus remove the paradox.
It's most likely an elaborate plan to bring himself back and survive the erasure caused by abusing Power of Waking.

it's the infinity gauntlet. pete will use it to remerge the worlds of the pre-keyblade war. which will bring the true light of kingdom hearts out of the realm of darkness.

To add to my theory, two more pieces of evidence.
The whole X symbolism so far was for Xehanort effectively removing his Heart and putting it into others.
So XSuper = Superbia's (MoM's) extracted Heart
And what's the name of the keyblade with the Gazing Eye that he gave to Luxu? No Heart.

he has no idea and wants fans to give him enough good ideas to decide on what it should be
they already did this for The Dark Road
this is not a joke btw

Honestly I'm surprised that Nomura never tried tackling more live action films given how he used Pirates twice.
Hopefully when the time of the reveal for what in the box actually comes, it's something satisfying and not a "Oh yeah, it's Sora with a plan 3000 years in the making to come back from the dead" thing that Fantasy tends to like

This is more sound than anything I could come up with, that's for sure. Like I don't know exactly what methods he used, but clearly the MoM was intent on surviving the Keyblade War and returning afterwards... Although his bullshit instructions are basically what started the War in the first place by pitting the Foretellers against each other. Between that and him egging on Young Xehanort to start a plan that would result in another War my question is why? He says he's fighting against "the darkness" but can it really be so horrible that it's worth risking so much for whatever plan he has cooking?
