Danganronpa 1 and 2. I never expected the English releases to happen, so I read the fan translations and knew all the deaths when I played them. Wish I could have done them blind like V3.

I watched both Danganronpa seasons before playing the games. And it really only spoiled the 1st game and about 2 deaths in the 2nd game. V3 on the other hand was a blind play through since it didn’t have an anime adaptation.

I strongly wish I could play VLR for the first time again. I got spoilered on almost every major plot twist in the game and I still was blown away by the "how" of it all. To this day Sigma Klim is my favorite brotag of any game I've played. I loved every second I played that game. Such an amazing experience. It saddens me that Uchi hasn't been able to capture that same energy since.

I love VLR, but its retroactively ruined by ending on a cliffhanger for a 3rd game. I would love it a lot more if it was self-contained like 999, but right now its attached to the hip to fucking ZTD.

I love this shit. it's too bad about ZTD though. they set up way too many plot threads in VLR and then made the followup game as shitty and unplayable as possible. I'm surprised Uchikoshi was able to get funding for AI Somnium and release it after that blunder

Just buy or pirate the PC version. People will tell you to play the DS version because the last puzzle is better, which it is by fucking far, but the flow chart and faster text speed is honestly more important. The flow chart is the big thing really since you don't have to start over from the beginning and can skip the escape rooms when you go for a different ending.

ZTD is the biggest chip on my shoulder regarding Uchi. He set my expectations sky high with 999 and VLR. I only expected him to create a magnum opus and blow my mind. I had no idea the disappointment that awaited me. Especially after a year of rallying with other fans to get the damn game greenlit.
Before ZTD came out it was awesome. A depressing as fuck game that ends on a depressing as fuck cliffhanger. All I wanted after beating it was to be the big hero and save the world.

Danganronpa 2. I only had a PSP and not a Vita and the PSP version was neither localized or fan-translated so I gave up and watched a playthrough. I only got to play it after it came to Steam and missed out on riding Komaeda's wild ride blind.
Also wish I can play TWEWY for the first time again. Same for 13 Sentinels, so I can have friends experience the story with me.
