I just watched this one a while ago to get going initialy, it's bound to be a bit outdated since it's for 12 and we are up to 16 now but always get the latest version.

Just checked the video quickly again and in rough terms everything shown here still stands true so you should be good. After this the fastest way to git gud is to impose yourself with a project of any kind. I'm not telling you to do short film or anything irrational like that even making a fake video essay just for practice would do, the point is that once you have a goal you will creatively come up with stuff you want to do but that you don't know how to do wich will make you search for specific tutorials with a goal instead of just fucking around with the software randomly in an unmotivated way.

The good thing about this approach is that you always pick up other random technical shit even watching specific tutorials so without even trying you make your hang of video editing overall more and more robust.
