Yes I heard a lot of people are moving out of California, but I can't help but feel that it's people in the republican part of it that's moving out.

Furthermore California has always had a large number of people moving in and out, that's why property tax is so much. The state knows that a lot of people move in, work for a couple of years and then move out after getting the good merits they need so in order to not lose money the property tax is high.
