It's not the abomination people make it out to be, but it was extremely overhyped and was nowhere near as good as it should have been considering how long it took to release and how much money they poured into it.

It actually was an abomination and it took years of major updates and DLC to get it to where it is today.

I played it at launch. It was a perfectly mediocre game. Hell some of the initial P at he's made it worse, like the shit they did to the stealth chapter where you only had the ring. I don't know how it plays now but even at release it was better than shit like XIII or X-2.

I guess we have different standards. It's far below mediocre in my book.

Nobody cares about FFXV except that one Australian abonigger. You can't kill what's already dead, but FFXIII and FFXV ruined the Final Fantasy's reputation forever, so don't expect FFXVI to perform well.
