Only On Nintendo Switch™

Bros... it's going to flop, right? It's so painfully seeing the series going back to Shitchendo... Capcom betrayed us. They deserve it.

fuck off consolewar retard

Depends what you consider a flop.

It will never reach World's numbers (no monster hunter ever will reach that number again. They tricked the normies but that's a one time deal)

It'll probably peak at around 4-5 million.

Yeah that sounds like a reasonable range. But when the fuck is the next trailer coming?

There are 15 million Nintendo Switch in Japan only. What do you think?

>They tricked the normies but that's a one time deal
what? Iceborne has a >30% sale rate which is incredibly high for an expansion DLC

Will the worldtrannies ever stop seething?

Lol ok pal

you're right, 5+ million sales for an expansion DLC that requires the base game is nothing, there's clearly no interest in Monster Hunter anymore

It'll sell pretty well, but it won't do World numbers. Of course, it will do like 3 million in Japan alone, given the Monhun craze and the Switch craze.

>Capcom literally give the base game for free with expansion to continue padding the numbers

Epic.

>Capcom literally give the base game for free with expansion to continue padding the numbers
Huh? I haven't gotten World yet. If I buy Iceborne the base game is free?

I got Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, but I still haven't gotten around to it because I heard that the game is actually impossible to beat solo and you would always require to do it online, thing I dislike a lot unless it's really passive online like Death Stranding. I usually play Souls games offline and so on, so is the fame of Monster Hunter real?

No but If you buy the Master edition of Iceborne, you'll get base world and Iceborne for the same price world was at launch.

It's possible to do solo. Whoever told you that is a fucking shitter.

The only time solo gets a bit fucky is when you get to g rank. Everything before it is soloable

I don't know man it looks like it's gonna be better than World judging from the trailers though that doesn't really mean much since World was kinda bad.

I really really fucking hated world, I spent every single day seething about it constantly but I see now that it's on switch that it actually had a lot of redeeming factors

You snoys really went insane since the Rise reveal, huh ? It's over. We won.

G Rank is easily doable solo, as it has been in every game

They went with omnipandering on World, can't possibly back down to older mechanics or try to appeal to classic fags without losing a chunk of their sales.

>can't possibly back down to older mechanics
>no mantles in Rise
>no clutch claw in Rise
smart guy right here

>>no clutch claw in Rise
it has instant rebound from hits and that retarded grappling that makes your character do spins midair with a GS on his back

Thank god they ditched the fucking clutch claw part tenderizing.

Yeah that was it. Nothing else, there were never any complaints about world besides those two things. The 99% of other stuff they brought over from world just objectively was all the good stuff.

Tifa in FF7R model is a genuinely wonderful model, isn't it? Haven't had that feeling since PS1-PS2-Dreamcast FMVs, and it's rendered in game.

yeah, i soloed almost all of mh4U's G rank. The real pain is the damage sponge bosses like dalamadur or gogmazios, that i had to do in multi.

What should I do guys? I bought a PS4 recently so I can finally play World. Should I wait for rise to come out and play that and world later, or should I play world first and rise later?

Do you love cinematic experiences with tons of cutscenes? Then play World.

Is it actually that bad?

Won't do world numbers but will do switch numbers. It will be successful enough.

I killed gog twice today solo, god what a fuckign DRAG
I don't have a good dragon weapon to farm him with so I think I'm going to give up on getting his GS which is whatever since I finally upgraded the seregios GS to max level

End game is fine but getting there was really getting on my nerves because of the constant unskippable cutscenes and walk and talk sections.

Not him but almost every story mission has an unskippable cutscene before you can fight the monster. The other character, the handler, is a complete dumbass in almost every single one and constantly puts you and her in danger. Oh, and if you had friends you wanted to play the game with, they can't join your quest until after you've found the monster and watched the cutscene.

I really enjoyed world despite the cutscenes. They were obnoxious. You should still try it out though.
