>Lol just use a DS4 controller on windows
>try it through bluetooth
>Keeps cutting out because bluetooth is shit
>Buy new, stronger, bluetooth dongle
>Cuts out every time the controller vibrates
>Have to turn off vibrate one every game
>Cant move more than 5 feet away from pc without it cutting out

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GUYS HAVE SUCH GOOD BLUETOOTH YOU FUCKS.
also shout out to my front usb3.0 ports for constantly disconnecting my shit, making me get a usb extender to use the ones in the back

>Have old 360 wiresless controller
>Battery pack is somewhat loose
>Every time controller vibrates it turns off

>Buy USB cord
>It just works

>Buying a DS4 for windows instead of spending 10 bucks to buy a logitech f310 or finding a used xbox 360 controller in a yardsale

or he already had it

Do you have a USB extension cord(male to female ends)? My bluetooth adapter worked fine until I installed an extra HDD and interference started happening. I just used an extra USB cord to move the BT dongle away from the PC and it started working perfectly again.

>not using cable
>using bluetooth dongle instead of bluetooth add in card

Literally works on my machine. I use steam instead of ds4windows though.

I realise that this might not be a helpful thing to say, but it works 100% perfectly for me despite using the world's cheapest and shittiest bluetooth dongle. Are you sure your controller is authentic? Might there be sources of interference nearby?

i already had a ps4 controller lying around. i could use my wired 360 controller but i really hate the 360 dpad

i use an extension for the usb, yes. its a good 3-4 feet away from the pc and on my desk.

its authentic, and the only thing that could think of that would cause it interference is maybe my switch or wireless mouse?

usb cords are gay. not going wired in current year

That's why I use an Xbox controller on PC, it just werks.

Those who enable rumble, they sicken me deeply.

>just use a DS4 controller for windows
Whoever told you that is a liar. If you want good windows compatibility use a bone controller. It just werkz

What's it like bragging about being this retarded on the internet?

i bought the cheapiest bluetooth dongle with no brand from my local online shop for $2 and it works flawlessly to this day with steam and DS4windows, maybe its your motherboard usb that have the problem bro

>ctrl+f interference
>3 results
I had to buy a usb extension for my dongles to work properly, shit is fucking dumb

i may be retarded, but im not bragging

I connect it with bluetooth or cable.
DS4Windows

it just works.

how far youre playing from the pc?

Works on my machine.

It is possible theres a lot of signal interference in your immediate area, bluetooth is also a 2.4ghz radio band like wifi, a microwave, and a ton of other shit.

The problem lies in front of the computer in 99 % of the cases.

so the wall of my desk? is that blocking the signal a bit?

i think her was referring to the user

she should say that next time. I'm at least 5 feet away from the physical tower, which is then sitting under my desk.

I was in your situation too OP. I had a bluetooth dongle lying around and experienced massive delay when I tried to use it with my DS4. USB 2.0, USB 3.0, it didn't matter. Completely unplayable. Bought a newer one off amazon, but I had the exact same issue. Gave up and went wired for a while, but
>microusb

Eventually I bought this: amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Adapter-Nintendo-Switch-Raspberry/dp/B0786JC6VW so that I could use a WiiU pro controller on my Switch because I was having drift issues. Turns out you can plug it into your PC too. I try it, and what do you know, it just fucking werks. I don't know what makes this chinkshit better than the other chinkshit I was using, but I've had literally zero issues after a year of daily use in a 2.0 port.

just buy xbox, no issues

never had a problem bluetoothing it on laptop
desktop doesnt have bluetooth
but it works 100% fine wired
how do you disable steam controller support for games its fucking garbage rather use ds4 windows

Maybe there is an issue with your usb ports, power or otherwise. The usb porrs on top of my pc were suddenly total shit and it turned out it was my power supply slowly dying. Now theyre just fucked but the back ones work perfectly again. There might be some kind of settings you can kajigger with. Google stuff like usb ports low power bluetooth low power blah blah
Ignore typos phone laggy

>usb cords are gay
continue to suffer then faggot idc
