How do you feel about if Rockstar having a woman protagonist in GTA 6?

it will put the final nail in the coffin for the spirit of the franchise. GTA 5 already treads far into the territory of tame, politically correct, media-friendly mass entertainment. Just go play GTA 4 and ask yourself, if modern Rockstar would have the balls to put this out? I hold some hope that Rockstar shows backbone and sticks to their roots, but Arthur's progressive values paint a bleak picture.

Rockstar gave up on the solo part being quality anyway. At this point it's just a launcher for the online where they rack in the shark card money.

online is the ultimate focus, no doubt, but I think they still consider the singleplayer-lead marketing campaign the safest path to good sales and the largest possible install base for the online launch. the big masses probably still rather pick up a singleplayer game, among which the online players and whales are a minority that will be milked later.

>Gerald McReary saying "nigger"
>the whole Gracie Ancelotti ("the bitch") plotline, where both Niko and Luis from TBoGT both punch her unconscious for being annoying, which is presented as a joke

I guess the jew part could still be feasible, but the more I think about GTA 4's ghetto missions, the more I realize just how "problematic" they would be considered today. the only way rockstar would do the same today was if there is a black person doing to mission (like Franklin is in all such missions in GTA 5) AND if the enemes are presented not as generic hood people, but instad as members of some criminal gang (just like all of them are Ballas in GTA 5).

oh, and I forgot about the whole Tom Goldberg mission. lol. GTA 4 really is something special.

On paper I wouldn't care but in reality I know that they'd try way too hard to make her a badass stronk womyn character. They already showed that they have no subtlety with it anytime Sadie was on the screen in RDR2.
I would be open to it and think it could be interesting to show a female perspective of street crime/organized crime if I knew it wouldn't be concentrated cringe.

I would like that character to be a wife and mother who doesn't have the personality of "im funny woman i fuck everyone and act horny!" but is instead a woman who is addicted to committing crimes and ends up doing so with other women (from different backgrounds) that she met in a support group.
