I'm on NG, is it worth saving items with certain inheritables for when I ACTUALLY make my build in DotD? Or would the cost for soul matching the inheritable be too much and not be worth it at all.

What's the best weapon for shitting on Yokai?
So far for humans I find it's fists and splitstaff with Unruly Revolution.

Is magic any good for shitting on Yokai?

If the inheritables are good enough, sure why not. I've got an inheritable Attack Bonus Heart in my warehouse I haven't used since Strong but it's still useful

They're all good bro. I like Odachi because it can parry nearly anything but Axe also has passives against Yokai and is the only weapon that benefits from Yokai pools
Also for Humans with Splitstaff, get the timely guard parry off and their recovery is so long you can charge up an entire Roar Power or move behind them and string a backstab.

Not really no, you have to know what you are looking for and you will have a lot of shit items to sift through. I don't think you can really get good inheritables in NG anyway.

Had to resort to using them in two blue missions and against DotW Kashin Koji, but I regret nothing.

Unless it's a stat based A rank attack bonus or imbues element like fire or purity, don't bother.

Whats he do

I just have general stuff like break, life drain, specific skill buffs, etc.

I hope this set becomes an unlockable costume in NG4 if they ever make it. It looks fucking dope.

No, the inheritables are going to get way better and shit like that can be tempered no problem

What I mean is the actual value they have, like the % or whatever. It's likely low.

You'll get inheritables with much better values later on. Honestly, they're better used now when you're low on cash and umbracite.

1 anima gain per second, plus they aggressively break enemy ki. Popping 3 of those turns you into a monster in bossfights, they can shred the enemies ki in seconds and let you go hog wild with yokai attacks.

What about amrita/gold earned? Or are those easy to roll/common on weapons later on. Just for when I decide to farm shit

So, how does staggering enemies actually work? Is there some stat that affects how easy it is to stagger an enemy or does each enemy attack just have "staggers easily, staggered by heavy or skill attacks, can't be staggered". Not referring to ki broken stats or anything

I only know that the more break your weapon has, the more easily it staggers

A few stats are garbage on purpose. toughness for instance is almost totally useless it's so small, same for +value on break. Amrtia and gold earned are so small they might as well not exist. There are some niche uses for them but only very rarely. Just dissassemble everything and worry about it later.

What are some good emotes for creating good poses to use in photo mode? I know there are a fuck ton you can get from the teahouse but I don't have the glory nor is there a way to preview any of them unless there's a video out there showcasing every single one.

Toughness can make the difference between B and A. Temper it on all five and at full familiarity that's 35, couple that with cores like Seto Taisho and a spirit like Rokugezo either as primary for 20 extra and 10 on secondary and it's very possible to make a lot of light armor have A toughness.

If you're using a mage with a spltistaff you literally have no reason not to use switchglaive as a yokai killer, the weapon is fucking amazing for that goal.

That's why I said niche, if you are right near the next tier it can be good, most of the time it won't help you though.

Yes. Prefect blend between Ryu's modern design and an ancient reimagining. Kinda wish the bottoms were skintight for females, but I still love it.

You can get new emotes by beating DLC missions on Way of the Samurai. Dumb they don't unlock across all difficulties, but shouldn't take long to get.

break is ki damage on guarding enemies, while ki damage is just in general. You always do ki damage even when enemies aren't blocking. If you empty an enemies Ki bar they'll start flinching when you hit them, if you empty that second bar they'll collapse on the ground.

Don't bother with those, the increase is completely negligible.
I don't know how others do it when tempering weapons but I focus on the stat attack bonus, a element, element build up, ki damage and melee ki consumption.
And on that note, weapons with pre-set damage effects are incompatible with the stat attack bonus, keep that in mind and don't be an idiot like me who forget about 30 different weapons until I figured it out.

Moves alone allow for really cool action poses, just make sure to assign a quick shortcut for photo mode like the bottom right corner of the touch pad. Besides, the best gestures are earned in game.
Don't worry about glory, I remember scrounging every bit I could donating pieces and such and now I don't even know what to do with it.

>sword dojo mission
Boy, I sure love running in circles for 20m baiting Sword of Meditation and Night Rain and pray the fucker doesn't split-second hyper armor OHKO iaido me every time I press a button.
Hanzo's a dipshit but at least you can beat most of his missions quickly.

Nioh has good build variety, but I unknowingly op'd myself pretty bad making most of the game a trivial cakewalk. I maxed out my ninjutsu and was just spamming all my throwables at bosses. They couldn't even touch me.

Who are you quoting?

Is there any proof of this? Not denying it, I just never heard anyone bring that up. Pretty interesting if so.

I specifically said I wasn't referring to ki broken state, I said stats but I think it's obvious what I meant. I'm talking about being able to stagger an enemy out of their attack.

>whitegoat actually uses shurikens to keep pressure on enemies
Interesting. I always thought the unlimited shuriken shit on Hayabusa is just a gimmick.

Yeah Shurikens are great for stopping human enemies from just walking away and recovering their ki, it's also really helpful for interrupting certain enemy ranged attacks

So what onmyo is actually worth using on full mage?
