I'm interested in seeing how this goes, hope we get some areas that lean really hard into dark fantasy/horror. Thats mostly what I liked about the Drakengard series even if they played like dogshit.

I like it in the context of a giant crystal tower full of advanced magitek machinery. The best part of his work on 14 is you can find at least a few songs that appeal to you regardless of your taste. Tell me what you'd like instead and I can try to find something for you.

I doubt it will go out of its own way to be as gory as possible but given the fact Ifrit seemingly tears Phoenix to shreds and you can even see the blood splatters in the trailer, the game won't shy away from way more violence than pretty much every previous mainline FF.

Oh yeah no way we'll be getting anything like the Twinning in 16, I was just posting examples of why I like Soken so much. From the trailer's music I imagine it will be mostly music you'd expect from a high fantasy low tech FF.

I told you 14's range of music is so wide you'd find something to satisfy you. I've always really liked Shinryu's theme as well. The latest expac definitely has a lot less of that kind of music but its still there.
