What am I in for bros?
What am I in for bros?
Absolute shit
I couldn't tell you, all my friends dropped after the first raid launched. I myself only made it as far as osiris and then quit also
they really shit the bed by changing the formula in PVP when it was KUHRAYZEE space magic battles to where you're lucky if you managed to get your super charged 2 times in the entire match
the wanted the esports crowd and gutted what made it unique and fun in order to do it
A shit game that is oddly enjoyable to play, until it isn't anymore
I wish it wasn't so bad
I miss Lord Shaxx. There's always the soundboard, I guess, but it's not the same.
fun
ew, they got rid of him?
did they ever reveal his face?
nah he's still around. What I mean is I miss playing Crucible, which is the only decent part of the game
And Crucible would be shit if not for Shaxx
About two months of fun and an eternity of complete hatred for Bungie, its jewish practices and Luke Smith.
t. 3000 hours
you cant talk about destiny in a board filled with casual cunts that cant even complete a single raid.
A real shitty starting experience since they just drop a bunch of "who gives a shit" quests then push you the newest Season. And if you want to play the old content, NOPE. They're removing it from the game, and you have to buy Forsaken if you want to play it.
You're in for a game where only the newest content matters, and it only lasts 3 months, whereupon progress is basically reset.
But hey, game looks beautiful. And music is great.
Enjoy!
>playing crucible
That said if your last experience was CoO its gotten a lot better since then. Id wait until next week to try since all the changes are dropping tehn with the new expansion
Does completing a raid require skill or just reading a guide and no lifeing it with 3 other losers?
The only good loot shooter, it's really fun when there's new content and everyone should experience a Destiny raid when they're new and challenging.
t.920 hours of in game time
the latter, plus all the fotm gear you have to grind for even though it's not necessary at all
well, is the only looter game there is worth playing.
You get to pay a $10/mo subscription for recolors and weapons that will be deprecated by design after 6mo. You'll get 9 exotics every season if you're lucky, 7 of which will be largely worthless. They'll strip content with each release to add new content. You'll be playing a shitty game of roulette where you only get to spin once every 3 hours on the item you want with a 1/100k chance to get desired rolls, and that's on weapons. Stats on armor are more fickle. Build variety is shit, and made more shit by limited viability and scope. Elected role doesn't matter since it's usually brainless as fuck.
You'll get really pretty environments that are generally pretty shitty to play in. The weapons look pretty cool, and so do some of the armor sets. You can be super /fa/. Content is and has always been fed at a drip and it's typically timegated to try and get people to log in for more than a week since the actual gameplay loop is dogshit, and the content usually only stretches 10h as far as story is concerned. Most of the activities are unrewarding.
i did prophecy that was enough for me
You don't need a brain to run prophecy, try a raid
>standing on plates and shooting a mostly static target is skill
All they require is coordination, and familiarity. Races are heavily predicated on luck. They're only fun once. The randomized features they add really aren't that fucking cool, and only reward one of three characters, which is dogshit. Even the wish wall was dumb.
you don't need a brain for raids lol
You do the first time
Former is the first thing said. Latter is the second.
I never said raids take skill. Try to keep up, esl-san
I can't do it. I was there during the initial months of bungie posting WE HEAR YOU every day on the blog but not actually fixing anything
they've lost my business for life. I can't trust them
seriously feel like I got tricked into beta testing the game
I felt that way about the first one too but figured the second one would build on where the first one left off and boy was I wrong
who the fuck has different teams working on the sequel with no communication between the content support team still making things for the first one?
bungie, that's who. and maybe gamefreak, but that's it
>LMAO you dont need a brain to think
looks like you dont need a brain to post here.
JUST LET ME SUCK IT
also,
>implying I read posts on Zig Forums and don't make arguments with limited information just to stretch my unimaginably well rounded writing skills and force my increasingly weak opponents to submit with a series of specious logical fallacies using esoteric language that they have extreme difficulties in understanding, and so rely on narrative fallacies derived from face value which plays to my hand as they develop the expectation that I must be more intelligent than them, and thus am correct in all assertions and so I implant what is definitive misinformation into their model of the world and increase their chance of failing by that virtue, and thanks to the fractal patterns of recall and neural modeling such a seed tends to grow with exponential velocity.
Destiny 1 pissed me off because I bought it when it was on sale at Costco with all the DLC up to the taken king (rise of iron wasn't out yet). I did 100% of the story solo except for strikes but I hit a giant wall with gear because I never did any raids before and I didn't know there wasn't any match making, so of course everyone was doing the later raids and I never got a chance to do the early ones like the vault or glass and shit. I never did any of the later ones either.
I respect that
in fact I'll even call you based because I do the same thing
Honestly a pretty good looter shooter RPG. I usually play for a few months, then take a few month break, then come back, etc.... I like both the PvE and PvP aspects but I know a lot of people don't like the PvP, which is understandable.
>you're lucky if you managed to get your super charged 2 times
Depends on the PVP style, I only ever play the ones where Supers charge quick or rocket tag.
I understand that the small destinations as well as the two dlc locations are going away, they had barely anything
but what is the point of taking away leviathan and SOTP?
disappointment.
They're using PBR textures, the storage those use is huge and there's a lot of them. Their engine is highly recursive, or at least it used to be. They're very opaque about it, but at one point they had a lot of issues in the pipeline because if you modified x it'd effect another x in another location in totally unpredictable ways, which caused y and z to fuck up as well. The system dates back to the era of Halo 2 or 3 iirc. One of the engine devs did a talk at a conference about it, it's on Youtube if you care to check it out. Anyhow, because of that they probably have a lot of dependencies on assets, scripts, and what have you between all of the shit they're nixxing.
Never ending grind
Wait until next season
