I remember thinking how utterly impossible O + S were back then. Now looking at some of the Bloodborne, DS3 and Sekiro bosses, it’s laughable how easy their are in retrospect.

Retarded casual. Everybody knows invading exists to counter-balance the benefits of summoning. Summoning makes the game drastically easier, but also drastically increase your chance of being invaded. Invasions themselves add significant variation and unpredictability.
If you don't want to deal with invasions just play offline.
If you want to summon without having to deal with the drawbacks then I don't know what to tell you, other than to stop being a whiny faggot who wants to have his cake and eat it.
