Controllers that take AA batteries are unironically better in every possible way than normal controllers. Get a battery wall charger and some rechargeable batteries and you literally never have to deal with a controller wire again. They last significantly longer too.
It's honestly annoying that microsoft are the only ones in the industry that actually know that AA battery controllers are the best option.

The PS5 controller looks cooler and probably nicer to hold. The gyro and fancy triggers are also a pretty cool gimmick. I'm fine with internal batteries as long as they're easy to replace/possible to entirely remove and still use the controller wired.

They're just vibration motors in the triggers. Very few games use them but they're pretty neat. Forza uses them to give you a feeling of the cars grip so like if you accelerate from being stationary and your wheels are spinning and dont hear traction you can feel the grip in the triggers. Same for braking. You kinda forget about them after a while just like regular vibration and I expect the dualshock triggers to be the same. Eventually the gimmicks wear off.
