How’s that collection coming along? Looking to get a bookshelf soon but for now I’ve gotta work with what I have
How’s that collection coming along? Looking to get a bookshelf soon but for now I’ve gotta work with what I have
>physical media
>WiiU games
Just grow up already, user
Consider getting a couple of books for that future bookshelf, buddy.
BE LIKE ME!!!!!!!!
Your not wrong. I’ve got a few books from college and manga
>vertical stacking
what's wrong with you user
are you black by any chance?
I don't see Beyond Good and Evil, The Mark of Kri or Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for the PS2.
It's a shit collection desu.
Not to mention Gran Turismo 3 or 4.
Sad!
I almost started collecting video games in my early 20's, then I had a revelation when I thought "I'm buying games I barely even want to play, what the fuck am I doing?"
Collecting things is a meme and just feeds hoarder behavior, you shouldn't buy things just to own them, unless you really think they're gonna go up in value.
>Japanese games and anime
>black person
Are you a retard by chance? I don't see any sports games in that collection.
did you read those books? I've read brave new world twice over the years and like it, but haven't read those other ones
i like having physical things, even if they're not seen as valuable or if i never get to play them at all or fully, but just to at least always have it with me and not have the media just disappear and not be available bc someone wants to censor it or it gets forgotten
you dont want a bookshelf for games, you want media shelves. bookshelfs are for books unless you want to put figurines or knick knacks infront of the books/games
media shelfs are made specifically for games/movies/cds and dont have that extra lip of shelf to hold stuff/useless things
Collecting shit you want to play and think is good isn't a meme user, it's what you're supposed to do.
Only retards collect shit to resell it.
Brave new World is my personal favorite book. Love the tales of manlet who ruins his life over orgy porgy and the commentary on a over sensitive society
Don’t know what that has to do with it but yes
This is 100% true. I collected video games in my teenage and early 20's years, been recently selling everything off, its a pain in the dick and the hoarder mentality was creeping up on me.
Any consoles that are cheap to buy for now? Getting tired of spending $100 a disc on PSX games (but I'll be back for Raycrisis).
PC Engine / TG16 is pretty cheap nowadays. The better games will rob you, though.
I only keep stuff I know I'm going to re-watch/re-play over and over again. I've recently been going through my entire collection and getting rid of a bunch of games I just couldn't justify keeping for one reason or another. Turns out I'm really not a fan of racing vidya unless it's something like CTR, Wipeout, or F-Zero.
360/PS3/Wii/DS/3DS/PSP are all cheap as dirt.
I dont like the D-Pad. And I already have 13 consoles dont need another one.
Wii is above retail for games that matter. I'm also focusing on that. Spent $70 on Fragile Dreams last week.
on amazon, the prices for those consoles are hovering around $130
Hmm, well I'm a bong and the prices certainly aren't that high here. I bought a pristine white DSi a few months back for £30 and just a few days ago picked up Pilotwings on 3DS for £3.50 off Ebay.
Where do you go for the best stuff? eBay has always been a crapshoot for me. I’ve gotten deals but there’s plenty of overpriced garbage. I find local stores to have better browsing prices but looking for something specific is more expensive locally
How do you guys like my custom built Gameboy shelf? I want put the Gameboy logo on somehow, but I think I at least did pretty well with the cartridge shape.
Pretty based, my guy.
30 quid for a dsi, that's nuts to this american. tbf those prices are about right on ebay, and those console prices go below $100 on there too
it'd look better turned 90 degrees (nyuck nyuck) but looks cool. is that mario statue made of lego?
In my experience locally is cheaper but the condition is horrendous. Forget CIB you are lucky if the disc doesnt have stickers all over it.
Ebay. That's honestly pretty much it save for the very rare second hand store purchase. I just check semi-frequently, always make sure to check the ending soonest and newly listed sections as I've had a lot of luck with both.
I've given up trying to build up most of the retro stuff because of the price hikes and endless bootleg listings. I still prefer physical, it's just gonna be out of reach for me
I'm not sure why the picture is rotated, it was facing upright in the image preview. But no it's actually the 30th anniversary Mario Amiibo. I have made some Nintendo themed stuff out of Lego, I'll post some pics. For now, here's my custom Gameboy Horror.
My guy, not sure if you ever worked with wood but using a router is very simple and routing in a gameboy logo right in the center of that would look real nice.
It's the wisest decision. I'll always recommend to people unless you already have a large collection it's just not worth getting into it as it will cost you stupid amounts of cash. I love the Megadrive but prices for it, and the Sega CD are just retarded. Just emulate or if you want to be a little more authentic look into flash carts and go that route.
Genesis is a cheap system though. It’s only add on shit
Here's a Lego Yoshi Sprite I made years ago
based sony poster, xbox shills on suicide watch
But he has xbox games
Different country rules. For example the NES? just wasn't a thing here. Sega? massive. Even the first Sonic game goes for stupid amounts let alone trying to collect the library.
And here's a Lego Link I also made around the same time.
user, it's not 2003.
Niggas love that shit now more than ever before.
Cool stuff user, unironically thanks for sharing.
