I used to like World of Tanks but I hate almost all the maps in the game right now
The number one reason for me to consider buying a premium account is the addition map ban slot
But even with two map bans there would still be too many shit maps left

As an actual tank enthusiast I just feel sadness when I see posts like this.
If you guys actually liked tanks you would never want to touch GuP or WT even for a second.
They shit and piss on everything that makes tanks the absolute coolest thing that humankind has ever created.
Please play some actual real tank games.
Its a completely lost art and the good ones are all old and dated by now but they still hold up for the most part.

You fucking suck and if it weren't because you are using the most OP tank in the whole game by far your clips would only last like 3 seconds, it's a disgrace that you think those matches are worth making into videos to show people

I always liked Panzer Elite since it was the first one I got to play. It has a lot of mods.
There are ones that are more realistic, better looking and not as janky. I advice you to just take a look around and see for yourself as there isnt exactly a jungle of tank games out there.
Of course. I dont blame you guys or want to belittle you. I just feel sadness that tank simulators are no longer a thing that are being made and younger people probably never will get to experience them.

Why is there like no good tank vidya?

I thought that simulators were going the way of VR since they allow for more natural controls and you'd actually be able to be inside of the tank.

VR adds nothing to the games other than having a TV strapped on your head, it was always a gimmick.

Really funny that I talked to a lot of old American and European tank enthusiasts IRL that really love GUP. Maybe you are the problem.

mechs are more realistic, literally no point to those coffins on wheels when one guy with a rocket can destroy it. meanwhile mechs can just dodge the rockets

Mechs in reality would find no use since they wouldn't be able to move as fast as they do in fantasy and they would be costly as fuck to make, you must be baiting.

There is this tank game that the devs from IL-2 are working on that has VR support. Its still in early development and really janky but its still fucking awesome.
I really hope it can continue to develop, a good VR tank sim has been my dream for years.
VR is great user. As with all new tech you just need to wait a while before it becomes affordable for everyone.
Its the same deal as internet and mobile phones.
I watched and enjoyed GuP but not for the depictions of tanks.
GuP tanks really have no connection to actual tanks. They are cardboard boxes that drift and spin around as if on ice.
