As far as the anime goes, Maeda and Shintani might be the most appealing at least just on an objective level.
Pre-2008 Yamamuro is fantastic though and will always be held high in my eyes. 2010 is where the downgrade begins. Super is all visually quite unappealing.

I've always liked DB/early DBZ, the characters don't look like muscle monsters yet and it retains that whimsical feel of the original DB.

One thing I'll give GT is that they maintained the characterization of everyone from Z.
Goku was still a chad. Vegeta became more of a boomer dad. Gohan was still strong and got a job at capsule corp. None of the dumb character arc retreading that Super did.
