This game felt so tedious I literally had to force myself to play through the last 10 hours to finish it, deriving no enjoyment in the process. If that's what AAA Western gaming has become it's truly dead to me.

I like it

first game was boring too. literally begins with a half hour of cow wrangling. big surprise

it was fun and should have been an actual minigame

why should i care about the opinion of someone who played through a 60 hour long videogame that they didn't enjoy? What sort of fucking retard does that?

Yeah.

listen bitch when I play a cowboy game i'm not trying to be a literal cowboy

*spits on your boots*

same
it wasn't even a game
the gameplay was so easy it didn't even feel like a game
the story was trash
the mechanics were trash

the graphics and enviroment/map were the greatest thing I've experience

game was the most massive disappointment I've ever played

you- VARMINT

ESL retard alert

yeah, I couldn't finish it
even when I got to the point where I was using only your knife and tomahawks to spice it up, it only worked so long before I was bored again

I finished Death Stranding a few days ago and loved the slow, comfy pace and the bare nature of the open world. Is RDR2 of the same calibre or is it more like GTA in the wild west?

RDR2 is really stretching the definition of what should be considered a video game

I've been playing the online version mostly, and that's pretty fun.

that 97 and success lives rent free in so many heads user

if you like slow then you might like Red Dead, desu

Well, Death Stranding's slow pace worked because it conveyed the feeling of having taken a ardous hike through unforgiving landscapes before reaching a terminal. You "felt" tired so the immersion saved it. If RDR2 can convey its "ultra-realistic" stuff in the same immersive way then I might give it a shot. But if slow walking through a town and never allowed to draw weapons is executed in a way where it just gets frustrating after awhile and you want to break the controller then it's a hard pass.

It's actually a shame you played DS but not RDR2 already

90% of RDR2 is pushing a button to move forward to hear people talk or watching a cutscene. Some retards classify that as a video game.

>rockstars team are the best

weeb triggering is about to immense

>tfw try to 100% it
>story gets too boring so drop it
>now I want to 100% it again but game is too easy, scripted and tedious to get to where I was

I don't know why that causes triggering. Rockstar can literally probably do what any other developer does when it comes to how they design their games but other developers cannot pull rockstars engine and design off.

A thousand miles wide, two centimeters deep user.

Then go play fortnite or life is strange tranny

Do you know any games besides Fortnite, Life is Strange and RDR2?

GTA in Wild West sounds about right

Why?
Kek sounds like a VN. People give Kojima lots of crap, but he nailed it with DS by having cutscene heavy stuff in the beginning and the end. Everything in the middle was uninterrupted gameplay mostly.

I played through Ace Attorney games recently which are actual VNs and they had much more meaningful gameplay than RDR2.

>Why?
Because all of this slow paced methodical, heavyy attention to detail in an open world environment was pioneered in by them

Apparently you dont tranny also dilate

Wow why are you so angry pardner? I get it, you like shitty movie games, you don't need to bark at anyone who doesn't.

why'd you force yourself to play a game you hate?

sunk cost
