Demon's Souls PS5 Version Now Easier Than Original

Thanks to PS5 UI embedded tip videos

>The Demon’s Souls remake on PlayStation 5 will indeed take advantage of the activities bar and feature over 180 help videos that players can choose to watch to complete sections of the game.

>As reported in The Washington Post, Demon’s Souls “will make use of the PS5’s activities UI, which offers helpful tips regarding certain tasks. [Demon’s Souls remake creative director Gavin] Moore says there are over 180 videos, each with increasing levels of visibility into what’s needed to complete portions of the game[.]”

Oh no, people will learn mechanics instead of watching JewTube tutorials!

I can't really be mad about this because people will just look up shit on Youtube and Wikis anyway.

The internet sort of ruined the appeal of Souls games once the franchise got popular.

Seems like a lot of work to make all these videos and put them in the UI when people already write walkthroughts for free online

>playing & learning from your mistakes BAD

You didn't actually look up how to play a video game, right?

>being told about specific encumberance limits instead of being forced to look shit up on the wikis because the game doesn't fucking tell you so much important statistical shit bad

YES!

Now I can review the game!

No one actually does or did this, why do you think meta builds are a thing

>Demon's Souls PS5 Version Now Easier Than Original
All values and information of quests is already online as there is a wiki for Demon's Souls. Magic is still the be-all end-all. Enemy placement is the same.
Casuals are not interested in playing this videogame, they are interested in being able to say "I won!!!!!!11!!!"

>no difficulty options
>no buy

Well for soulsborne games if you don't look shit up you end up screwing your build over. Honestly these games would be better without level ups and grinding, it's just a mechanic for casuals anyway.

Cool, now if arena shooters can add that the genre might actually come back in the next half-decade.

Have you tried a game called Sekiro before

How do you get that many videos to describe simple concepts?

Yeah but the framedrops were even more distracting than Bloodborne's whole performance that I returned it after an hour. Hopefully the Piss5 can run it decently.

>trying to make the game harder

Cool guy here. Save some difficulty for the rest of us pal

Sekino has better performance on the PS4 than Bloodborne.

No one has time for that these days, it’s the participation trophy generation.

Stupid waste of time and space. It'll bloat the game.

Going from 60fps to 25fps upon sweeping the camera throws me off way more than going from 30fps to 25fps.

>Press R1 to attack and press O to dodge attacks!
What else besides basic stuff like that?
The game isn't complex, it's Japanese jank with mobs using scripted patterns.

Thats unironically a good thing
What if i want to see every content the game has to offer but dont want to spend 1 hour figuring something out?

Its fucking optional anyway

At least the enemies in Soulsborne games actually attack you unlike in DMC or shit like that.

Bloodborne doesnt have framerate issues, it has frametime issues, which is completely different

Oh no now people wont have to use google!!!!!!!

More UI elements to tank every games performance more like it.

Both have frametime issues

People like you are why we end up with things like Origami King.

The interface was designed with this in mind so not quite.

As I said before when the feature was announced anyone who criticizes this is a faggot zoomer. This cuts the knees off homosex men making shit guide videos on YouTube making money off stupid kids.

If you are not a zoomer you know goddamn well most people looked up facts in the early 90’s on Internet forums and or bought a strategy guide book or better yet read the part you needed while standing in the aisle at Barnes and Noble and left without paying. There was also an entire TV show on G4 dedicated to cheat codes and tips and tricks for games in the early 00’s. Guide books wer super popular and well used in the 80’s as well for stuff like NES games.

Sometimes you bet a game without ever looking things up but it was not a given stop acting like fucking faggots and pretending you beat every game blind. Fuck.

So plebs and journos can finish the game and wont complain about the game being "unfair" and hard then start to harass devs to add ez mode. I see this as a win because its optional and not baked into the game itself

Yup me calling all Youtubers faggots definitely makes me a soiboy. Are you retarded?

These videos are identical to the little clip hut from New Super Mario Bros Wii which would play demos showing you how to find secrets. Nothing like the newer Mario RPGs with lengthy tutorials.

Didn't Nintendo do this with New Super Mario Bros on the Wii?

I kinda miss how comfy Borders was.

To add to the pile

I'm a game journalist and a reviewer too and playing game is one of the hardest thing you can do in this life. It's just draining and you are forced to finish them. Sometimes I cry when I go to bed it's so bad.

That's your own damn fault for hyping up a harder Ocarina of Time as the anti-CoD.
