Currently trying to get to the epilogue, just about 30 runs total so far. Zeus Ares and Artemis are my go-tos for good boons, Zeus for clearing out groups and Ares/Artemis for high single target damage, but honestly you can most of the time accidentally find a good combo of boons that compliment your weapon. The shield is god like with Zeus, up close weapons work well with Aphrodite and Demeter and Poseidon's boons are actually really useful since his boons can do immense wall damage.

Best boon/weapon combo is gun with zeus attack. Shit will carry a run.

I always try to go for her dash deflect, and some of her boons work well in cases like with the bow and its spread shot can make projectile based encounters a breeze. Her damage reduction boons are good too

Probably the most fun ive had is the demeter cast on cd with chaos buffs increasing the number of casts

I've escaped once with some lucky gun boons, but I think shit will be easier now that I have the aspect for the bow that makes you special home in on the person you last hit. The duo boss fight still fucks me though, and I don't see myself beating them with the shield.

Get 200-300 hp
Get boons that boost a specific move of shield you're going to spam, I suggest dash strike.
Get Athena's dash boon, makes you deflect when dashing.
Get as many death defiance you can from the mirror.
Get as many boons that deal damage while you just spam Dash strike. Like Zeus's thunder, and things that boost his thunder effects.

is there a reason to go for the 32 heat statue?

Never stay in one place for long. Keep your distance from the minotaur and dash through pillars when he starts chasing you to have him crash into them.

Why is Charon stronger than Hades?

The only way to fight these two reliable with melee moves is to spam dash. So if you're using shield and you're not spamming special makes sure you have a lot of boons empowering your dashes.

Matter of pride I guess. There aren't any huge rewards to it beyond an extra conversation with Skelly and a Steam achievement.

I like Demeter. Her dash is good, cast speaks for itself and chills is good in general.

I'm playing on Hellmode with all the heat except the shitty time limit on a new save. I just wanna hear more fucking dialogue that I missed, this game just has too fucking many for my OCD.

I used to hate the gun until I saw some of the Daedalus upgrades that basically triple your output. The difference is night and day with them.

I can pretty reliably get those set up. So long as I have demeter's cast it's a guaranteed good run

depends on your weapon & aspect.
the build I do best with is Poseidon Sword with Poseidon Shot. then I try to get a bunch of Poseidon and Artemis boons.

he'd be nice for fire boons considering there aren't any in the game

theres enough rng in the without damage being rng

Chiron is easy mode bow, Eris is the best gun, Achilles is the best spear. Excalibur is a meme but pretty powerful.
