With the popularity of Phasmophibia, what other paranormal entities do you want to get a Co-Op game? Pic related, I want a Bigfoot hinting game

There already is a coop Bigfoot hunting game

And it looks like complete garbage.

American monsters only.

Ah yes, the classic bigfoot hunting game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

I was thinking earlier some kind of 'modern monster hunter' focusing on Cryptids of North America could be cool.

Bigger question is if it should be modern, early twentieth century, mid/late nineteenth century, or late eighteenth century?

>big foot hinting game
so like, guess who but every person is bigfoot?

I want welcome to the game 2, but with supernatural entities and shit that you have to learn how to summon and banish. I want to be hunted by Bloody Mary while I research what household supplies I have to manually walk to the dilapidated drug store to get.

Mid 20th century would be best I think. While modern tracking techniques and satellite data could be cool if done right, it's REALLY hard to do right.

Yeah, a WWII period one could be interesting too. And I guess if you want to have some off-regional crytpids appear it could be justified as an Imperial Japanese attempt smuggling in monsters to undermine America.

Would Nazis make a bit more sense? Sure, but Nazis get all the fucking fun in anything WWII related. Let's have a WWII game where some other Axis power does something. Plus Japan's got a fuckload of weirdass shit they could readily dump on America before needing to swipe from the Pacific rim and eventually ask Germany for some help with stuff from Europe, Africa, the Middle East.

Might b cool.

The protag could be a guy who didn't qualify for the draft for some kind of health reason. Gives him a bit of character and a reason not to be fighting Nazis. (though America only got involved during the last year or so of the war anyway)

Skinwalker, with proper weaponry.

I want an scp meets x files meets la noire style detective game where you investigate strange occurances, interview witnesses, collect clues, and eventually kill or capture whatever cryptid, monster, etc that is causing the incidents.

If you chose to capture them, they get locked in an scp style facility which you can view them in at any time.

There would be some kind of bad ending for killing them all, and the true ending would be catching all of the monsters, where they all break out like that one scene from cabin in the woods.

Oh, perhaps the protagonist's disability was a side effect of what lets him better perceive and deal with the monsters? Either that or his perception of them causes him to be labeled as a mentally unfit for duty.

Could even always just have a DLC where after your talents are recognized you get sent between theaters to assist on other occult monsters being unleashed.

This all sounds good too but.

>bad ending for killing them all
Why would this happen when capturing them all results in everyone you're working with dying?

Shit if it's a video game you could just choose one. Some disability that works out to be a useful talent in a roundabout way.

Same reason why they try to keep scps alive. Just in case something worse comes along that they could be used for.

I can confirm that it's ass. Bought it with some friends, and it was fun for the jankiness for an hour or two until we realized the whole game was just a massive grind of getting bodied by bigfoot again and again while hoping he'll step on a trap and take 5% of his massive health bar.

fair enough.

So, question is: should the game stress investigation and horror aspect like the other user, be a bit more action adventur-y like a pulpy, modern monster hunter like I mentioned? Or maybe a bit of an in between like Bloodborne with detective work? I feel like a ranged 'soulsborne-esque' combat of high lethality feels a bit fitting given the character is supposed to be suffering from some disability.

>>>>>>>popularity
Streamers played it and the game will literally drop off the face of the earth in a week. Fuck off faggot and stop watching friend simulators

imagine being triggered by a common word. here's another one for you: incel.

Autism

I want an SCP Cleanup Crew game with a good director behind it's visual style and audio design. I know SCP has been shit lately but someone passionate enough to filter out all of the bullshit SCP entries and come up with new ones to make some Evan Royalty style kino in the vein and atmospheric mood of a game like GTFO with VR support like Phasmophobia has would be the absolute best shit ever in my opinion.

Basically it'd be like a milsim in the vein of rainbow six but with supernatural entities and specialized equipment.

A co-op hunting game is hard to ballance without a gimmick.
Which works with the ghost game and other other hand the bigfoot game has you, with or without three others, run around a park with a 5 minute day night cycle putting hundreds of rounds in an ugly render of a monkey and its just a slog.
You have the blind monster one with very little gameplay but decently balanced gimmicks.

Bigfoot isn't paranormal

THE THING

Already an unfinished Bigfoot hunting game that is available.

Anyway, cryptids I like to see in a game where you hunt them are:
>Chupacabra
>Jersey Devil
>Skinwalkers (Some Blair Witch type shit)
>Ningen (Ocean level would be fun and eerie)

There are people that believe Bigfoot is inter-dimensional as an unironic explanation for how it is sighted everywhere without ever getting captured.

I been cataloging for the best SCPs that can fit such a thing.

A Gremlins game, kinda l4dlike but the gremnlin plsyers can just switch between random gremlins in their horde to destroy shit

Already been done, kinda.
Morbus was huge back in the day on gmod.
Start the game with one alien who can disguise as a human, and if they kill someone, that person is also an alien who can disguise themselves

I hope you're more creative than the people who add just SCP-008, SCP-173, SCP-096, and SCP-049 then just call it a day. Add more mundane but volatile shit too.

Underrated.

Nah, I got stuff like
>SCP-339 - Be Silent, Be Still
>SCP-3035 - Science Bugs
>SCP-363 - Not-Centipedes
>SCP-280 - Eyes in the Dark
Last two would be neat to have to add further importance to light.

I never seen 008 used in any games. They are just standard zombies but people go with the 049-2 instances which are suppose to be more dangerous than a typical zombie.
