Claire is honestly the better campaign and makes more sense as an A scenario. The only parts that are on the same level of quality as Claire's from Leon's is the Kendo scene and the Ada scene at the end.

Claire is more directly involved in the actual story. It makes more sense for her to be fighting Berkin and the Sherry stuff is a lot more integral to the game than the Ada stuff. It's alright if you like Leon more.

Playing mommy is nothing compared to Leon actually trying to save the city, not just that, but Ada getting the G-virus and working for Wesker is a million times more important than a little slut. Specially since because of this events Leon gets recruited and Operation Manuela, RE4, the movies, RE6, etc happen.
Claire playing mommy did nothing, she could have gone straight to paris for Code Veronica, in original RE2 she doesn't even find Chris went to europe. Her plot is shit.

Because in OG RE2 Sherry never got infected and Ada didn't get smashed by Mr X. Now routes don't matter since the key events always happen the same way, A and B only change the gas station, meeting Marvin and who kills the final boss.
