God damn, I don't know why that single moment is so memorable. I was SO ready for the game to pull a lame-ass open-ended "maybe it was real maybe it wasn't lmao" move. Not to mention how the following scene, despite being so fucking random and out of left field, was the most... touched? Emotional? A game has made me in YEARS.
Why do you shill your anti white tranny shit here?
Kayden Morgan
I mean, the cryptoid was real sure but the "maybe real, maybe not" part is the actual conversation you have with it
Evan Thompson
tranny
Michael Barnes
I satrted the game thinking i would hate kim I ended up liking him and his sick dance moves he really deserved that fiendship sandwich
Nathan Fisher
>dilate trannysium Dilate and fuck off
Evan Morris
this game has no mention to white trannies at all
Oliver Lee
Yes it does, why are you lying leftypol tranny?
Michael Butler
Kim is sick. A lot of people hate him at first because he's a bit of a killjoy, but understandably so: You're supposed to be a cop, and you're a fucking disaster, and Kim only got sent to take care of you (read: babysit you) because of his sexuality. I feel like any sane adult would react much the same way he did.
Austin Williams
>missed the evrart questline because I didn't want to let him manipulate me >missed the dancing scene because I arrested those guys I need the expansion to come out so I have a good excuse to replay it
>I need the expansion to come out so I have a good excuse to replay it Same bro, the threads and noah's video really made me want to replay it but I know for a fact I'll drop it near the beggining
Daniel Gonzalez
I am an artist, and liver damage is my art.
Brandon Mitchell
fuck Evrart >tell his plans to the boat woman >think im backstabbing him >turns out he was playing me like a fiddle fucking hell, I felt like an idiot when he told me that he wanted me to tell her everything
Aaron Moore
I just beat this yesterday and am feeling like I'm missing the final act of the story or that the ending was a cliffhanger meant to be resolved in a sequel, I solved the case and I understand I was never going to solve the overall political conflict and that those plot threads would be left hanging but my characters story felt incomplete, I feel like maybe there is a sidequest more about this that I missed.
Jace Clark
either this tard is samefagging or you dumbasses are so eager to bite into bait it's upsetting
I'll admit I didn't fuck with Evrart for most of my playthrough, I guess I got the wrong idea for how bad it'd be. In the end, the ability to fuck with his plan without him being any the wiser redeemed it. Dancing scene was 10/10 though, definitely worth coming back for. (that and inventing EDM with some crackheads)
They've said they have plans for an expansion, a sequel, a translation of the book they wrote first, and a pen and paper version. There's not much info but I think I remember them saying the next game would have you play as a pregnant woman
>noah's video Yeah I was waiting for it since I first finished the game, didn't disappoint
Eli Walker
That you can take the photo if you have Kim with you, cementing that it's really real was 10/10 for me. I would have been happy if the game cut right there, but I get why they had the ending scene, even if it was a bit of downer after that particular bit.
Noah Reyes
You didn't miss anything. The ending was, unfortunately, rushed. The developers kinda just wanted to get the game out the game after working on it for a huge amount of years. I really wish they did a 'enhanced edition' but we all know that's not gonna happen, they're sick of working on the game
Brody Evans
Yeah I felt it too. First thought that it was Harry's delirium hallucinations or something.
Leo Gutierrez
If communism is so great why did it fail where ever it was implemented and has a body count of hundreds of millions of people starved to death?
Jace Sullivan
>pregnant woman Perhaps Harry's ex when she was pregnant?
Ryder Collins
>leftypol tranny crying for a safespace Why do you hate the white race?
Josiah Collins
People hate him? I always enjoy the "exasperated straight (haha) man" characters. They remind me of me. I instantly loved that fucking nerd.
I always liked Kim but I could see him being a killjoy if you did complete disaster cop route.
Camden Peterson
On the contrary, when I realized that the game is so full of itself that it brings an actual deus ex aliena to explain itself. Ohhoho you humans are so weird with your having desires, but being too obtuse to realize them ohohoho. FUCK OFF. Stop explaining the plot of the game like I am a child. Hated this ending. Awful.
Ethan Bell
>An end goal of theirs is for the sequel to have a second main protagonist. Rather than Disco Elysium’s middle aged male cop, players could choose to be a pregnant woman, about five months along, which Kurvitz says would be an “incredible writing challenge” within Disco Elysium’s very weird, very internalised system of skills and thoughts. “It would be unbelievable to use our skill system to speak about the bodily sensations of having another organism inside of you, while you’re in the setting and talking to another person.” I call that quite a spicy meatball. >He says that “since we don’t want to go for commercial suicide there would have to be the male character too,” and right now they don’t know if they’d be able to include the female character as part of the full game. Kurvitz says that most games that offer a choice between male and female protagonists aren’t really doing so, and that it’s financially impossible to write a good male and female perspective with the production timelines involved. “They’re none of them, they’re soldiers, then, or saviours or something. They don’t have male or female characters in that way.” Disco Elysium’s protagonist is a man, “with all the baggage that entails”, and so they don’t want to just change the character portrait and call it a job well done. That being the case, they’re erring on the side of this female protagonist being an expansion. >“We don’t want to be superficial about it, it’s not just about the portrait image,” explains Metsniit. “It’s a whole universe of what the character would be like, differently. We’re not going to do it unless it’s perfect.”
Ian Gutierrez
that scene made me tear up
Liam Miller
who /finger on the eject button/ here
Luis Lee
if you weren't chasing the "ooh so weird" hunches and supernatural shit pretty deliberately, you would not have gotten that ending actual fucking brainlet
Damn, they're going the whole hog. I'm glad they're properly fleshing out both choices, but I hope they don't fall into the same annoying pitfalls a lot of other female characters do these days.
Alexander Cooper
Inland empire is specifically the build for people who "get it" and don't need an alien to come and explain the game to them. Bloodlines did that great with Malkavian dialogues. Disco did it terribly with its bug ending.
