disappointment
A whole lot of nothing
docked only. upgraded specs. new pro controller comes standard with the system.
If it even exists, it will be a docked only version.
To be more expensive than what I’m willing to dish out, due to me wanting an Xbox as well
To be too little too late when it comes to games, both first and third party
To still have massive release gaps with third parties due to the pro coming so late in the switch’s life.
To not be a home console only device and thus not be potentially cheaper than the regular switch while also still being more powerful
To still not be powerful enough to matter or make a difference
To have exclusive versions of games that I want, like Pikmin 4
To not be the reason why Nintendo just straight up stopped making games for over a year.
Rumoured to have a 1080p led screen, docked and handheld
This and to be more powerful are all I ask. Doing this will also inevitably make it rather cheap, compared to what it would be if it were still a hybrid.
Why do you think it would be docked only? Thr majority of users use it in handheld mode. They would lose sales because of it. Id never buy it if it were docked only, I'd just get a piss5 or whatever instead
4k when docked and a bunch of cloud shit that will be exclusive to the pro for no reason
will it have exclusive games not on the old switch?
games
>due to me wanting an Xbox as well
Lmao
>To be too little too late when it comes to games, both first and third party
Yeah not at all like xbox lol. Switch has had a ton of 3rd party support, actually
>To still have massive release gaps with third parties due to the pro coming so late in the switch’s life.
What do you think it's gonna be? It won't have games like RDR2 all of a sudden
Scenario 1: Mariko but it runs at full Tegra X1 clocks
Scenario 2: It's a "next-generation" Switch, not a pro like some insiders/websites have been saying
>Thr majority of users use it in handheld mode
This is totally untrue, puerile garbage.
Switch Pro won't be a thing simply because there's no Tegra X1 successor from NVIDIA and using a SoC from another manufacturer, even if it's ARM, means losing all current compatibility considering Switch is built around X1's features.
Dock that can boost performance.
It was something like 60% use it in handheld mode the majority of the time
I rather they develop some games than another shitty underpowered console.
snapdragon 875
Totally different departments tard
I'd at least like to see handheld performance that doesn't drop below 720p. Certain games just look ugly when you're not playing docked.
The 3DS had "enhanced" games that played better on the New 3DS models (Smash Bros, Pokemon Sun/Moon, Hyrule Warriors Legends). I imagine a similar thing would be done for their upcoming games that will benefit from more powerful hardware (e.g. BotW2, Metroid Prime 4)
$200
1440p OLED screen
30 exclusives at launch
Waterproof
Comes with two pro controllers
No, it was an offhand comment made by an out of touch game journo that was totally wrong. Fewer than 20% of users use handheld mode exclusively, and the vast majority use it in docked mode at least half the time.
Bad bait
What data are you basing this on?
>Thr majority of users use it in handheld mode
Was it not proven to be the other way around in an officially released statistic?
Still, take the money you are going to use to make the new console and put it into making some fucking games. And please don't make them look like they just released for the PS2.
>Why do you think it would be docked only?
Because the people who want it to be stronger are the ones who don’t care about portability. Vice versa, the people who play it in handheld only don’t care about power and likely already own a lite instead of a regular switch.
There have been no officially released statistics. Its guesstimated that its split 50/50 fairly evenly but these are all from 1-2 years ago. With the addition of thr lite its probably more towards portable mode now.
>What I want
Running in hand held mode would be the same as docked
Better screen
Performance boost to older games like the witcher 3 letting us run games like how modded switch users are running them
More onboard storage
>What it would most likely be
Better screen but not taking advantage of it
STILL using shitty joycons
Performance boost will still be beaten by modded switches
Even lower battery life
No one will take advantage of any improved system overheads
plus a free 10/10 prostitute craving your dick, lifetime supply of gourmet food, a hollywood mansion and a space shuttle
>Yeah not at all like xbox lol.
Yes? That is correct. The Xbox is literally nothing BUT third parties. It has so many games that I want that I can’t get on the Switch right now. Stay seething.
Not him but again, different departments, and even different developers, nintendo's offerings usually look damn nice but 3p devs are too busy pumping out indie shit
And BTW, a switch pro won't be much better, if I were you go to fucking pc and stfu, we all know what nintendo is like, I blame the cheap asses buying their shit and encouraging them for budget friendly systems
>It won't have games like RDR2 all of a sudden
Sure it will. Maybe not games AS high up power wise, but bigger games that were previously xbox/ps only can now reasonably come to the switch and not be horribly downgraded as The Witcher 3 or DOOM 2016.
At this point just make a new console
