So how the fuck do I get Tonfas with the explosions on them? I'm 500 hours into the game and I'm getting into Tonfas the first time. There's at least 4-5 moves I'm missing out on by using regular Tonfas instead of the ones with guns on them.

What boss or mission is most likely to drop them?

Sarutobi's Gunsticks are the only ones that come with it prebuilt. And Otakemaru drops the text for them.

It's a shame that you can't refashion a weapon to look like the Sarutobi Gunsticks so that it can get the gun tonfa properties.

You can temper Tonfa Gun now. Migtt be a Dream of the Wise thing but I don't thi k so.

You can temper "gun tonfa" on any tonfa now instead of being forced to use a single weapon.
Also, unless they added more, I only recall there being 2 attacks that with with tonfa guns and they're combo enders.

Mark my words, Nioh 3 will be fully open world. It's the biggest change they can do with the series that wouldn't take away from all the mechanics they have implemented. It's going to happen. Maybe it won't be one giant open world but definitely at minimum will be split into 4-5 open worlds representing different regions of the world.

I don't care if it takes 5 years for it come out, I will be right.

Also, why the fuck doesn't EVERY single weapon in the game have Fleetfoot? Why is it that only Tonfas have them? It's like the most satisfying and amazing mobility skill in the entire game.

Because then Tonfa would lose a unique skill and giving every weapon similar moves would dull the choice and playstyle.

Because tonfas actually need it to get in. Every other weapon in the game either has high range attacks or attacks that move them much closer except tonfa. Even fists have much higher mobility thanks to it's unique run/dodge attacks

They will probably bring importance of spirits and living weapons back but separate it from yokai shift.
Also they will make the game take place around the whole globe taking stuff from much more mythologies, mainly Irish but we will also see South America as a part of Maria's conquest there.

Mystic Dyad for Kusarigama is just a straight upgrade to literally every attack, I love it.

The only people who want living weapon back are the fags who don't actually want to play the game and just want to go back to autistic easy one shot builds.

Also, I doubt it will take place around the world but we'll see. There's still plenty of japanese history and mythology to explore in a 3rd game.

Every Mystic Dyad save Spear does something good for the weapon. Spear is the only weapon class where having Mystic Dyad actively fucks the weapon because having the flourish in all stances can get you killed more often than not because of the animation lock each time you ki pulse.

How do I make my Marici/Kato build have more survivability? It encourages hyper aggression, and also forces me to be a soft noodle ninja. What do?

What the other guy said but as someone using light armor in DotW, having purity/ultimate strength(whichever one gives you the ki-pulse on block) has been a lifesaver. You can flux off block which helps immensely when managing ki.

Rainbow Ruse sucks, one of the very few skills that is just pointless, but you already can use it or Spear Flourish on any stance via simply changing stance before the Ki Pulse. It's the real reason why Fluidity is worthless, it needs to be something entirely different though I'm not sure what. Maybe a movement speed buff for using Spear Flourish/Rainbow Ruse, if they weren't being so ridiculously adamant about making movement speed buffs so few and far between and restrictive. Because everyone knows the biggest balance issue is fucking movement speed buffs.

Can you cancel the shuriken recovery with this for full non-stop aggression with fists?
