the longest time you'll ever wait in queue is 5 to 10 minutes if you queue as dps for qp, and that's not normal, the average is 4 to 5 minutes for dps, tank and healer queues are instant, pretty much any arcade queue is instant, comp queues are all under a minute or two

gm games are still all zarya, rein, ana, widow, mercy, etc. literally every game
they tried to shake this up a little by giving some underused close to medium range dps an hp buff, but all it did was fuck the lower ranked games

you know a shooter has a low skill ceiling when the supposed best in the world are all korean, gookland is by far the most irrelevant region when it comes to high skill ceiling shooters like CSGO and Quake, like they're literally less relevant than places like South America and fucking India and the Middle East, that's how bad they are at anything that isn't just clicking really fast in an isometric viewpoint high apm circle jerk

Worst matchmaking experience of my life. Every game is either a complete steamroll or getting completely steamrolled and there's a 60% chance you're going to back-fill because everybody just quits out of matches they know are a waste of time. Somehow in the same match you can get someone who doesn't know the absolute basics and a smurf absolutely destroying everybody. Acti-Blizz are hiding the matchmaking model because its based on the addictive concepts of losing a lot and occasionally winning big, like how casino's work. It's so bad that people even bend over backwards and spread their asscheeks to buy new accounts just to get out of that foced 50 hell the game tries desperately to implement. The only good things that came out of the game are character design (that they're now self-censoring to curb the monumental amount of porn) and refining the hero-shooter mechanic to a polished (not balanced) state

Sombra is good because she hard counters a lot of the highest pickrate characters at all levels, on her own in a vacuum she doesn't do enough to help her team, but with the level of coordination and communication high level teams have, she can carry a match by herself easily
some people have even talked about a small nerf to her hacking, either increasing the cooldown or making it not last as long

Flawed but enjoyable, needs more modding accessible and more workshop features. Don't take it too seriously and avoid competitive, the game clearly isn't built for it and is a casual shooter.
