No they weren't. The xbox was running at a significantly higher resolution like hitman being 4k on xbox but 1440p on ps4 pro yet there were still only minor drops on xbox which will be fixed over time since xbox actually updates their emulator and cares about back compat in general. 4k all day.

PS5 is usually 1440p and Xbox is 4k for BC so it's why PS5 BC run at 60fps when Xbox can dip in the 50's.

The Xbox is stronger but it needs a 1440p option to have the locked 60fps or even 1080p if it can run at 75 or 90fps.

I have no doubt those subtle fps drops will be ironed out by the back compat team cos they still constantly update the back compat emulators on a per game basis. Like I still have a fuckload of updates for 360 games which aren't updates from the devs but from the back compat team optimizing the emulator.
